ALGORITHMS ARE DESTROYING WHAT LEFT OF TRUST BU CREATING ECO CHAMBERS THAT. ARE DESIGNED TO DESTROY ANY CREATIVE THINKING.

Every week there’s another story about AI hallucinating, leaking training data, or being manipulated through prompt injection. Yet companies are rushing to integrate AI into everything from medical diagnosis to financial decisions.

What really gets me is how we’re supposed to just trust that these models are doing what they claim.

You send your data to some API endpoint and hope for the best. No way to verify the model version, no proof your data wasn’t logged, no guarantee the inference wasn’t tampered with.

The whole industry feels like it’s built on a house of cards.

Everyone’s focused on making models bigger and faster but ignoring the fundamental trust issues.

Even when companies claim they’re privacy-focused, it’s just marketing speak with no technical proof.

There’s some interesting work happening with trusted execution environments where you can actually get cryptographic proof that both the model and data stayed private.

But it feels like the big players have zero incentive to adopt this because transparency might hurt their moat.

Anyone else feeling like the AI industry needs a reality check on trust and verification? Or am I just being paranoid?

Social media algorithms are creating a digital phenomenon that regresses brain activity and literally “feeding” 80 % crap to us.

One has only to look at SHORTs on. U TUBE. Look at one and the Algorithm serves up more crap. As a result people are becoming more misinformed, superstitious, and tribalistic every day.

On top of this we are living in a world of enquiries.

Enquires into food contamination, into killings, information leaks, etc, costing billions, producing recommendations that pay lip service to their finds, never implemented.

The present leaders of the three largest world powers have little respect for the results of these enquiries viewing them with little regard, other than stating that lessons will be learned in order to ensure it never happens again.

As a product you have no rights, an often-overlooked trade-offs of using these ostensibly free services.

The worry is how the app is going to be perceived, instead of how it’s going to be used.

If you talk more about how it looks, than how it’s used, it’s not really a product. It’s probably just an app. A product needs user validation before, to make sure it’s worth building.

With more and more companies using technology to peddle their products it is becoming a racket with no customer service.

For example try sending a parcel by post.

There was a day one would fill in a custom and excise form buy the stamps.

Now it’s an online nightmare with a bill that is outrageous follow by a week of information as to where your parcel is.

AFTER THOUSANDS OF YEARS OF EVOLUTION) HERE IS THE WORLD YOU NOW HAVE.

A world with 8 billion of us, with rampant inequalities of opportunity, that is on the threshold EXTINCTION.

Why?

Because we put Growth of GDP higher than the true values that govern life – Fresh Air – Fresh water – Fresh food.

You would think by now that we would all realise that the protection of environment is paramount to our survival.

We know it, but we are unwilling to pay for it.

The risk that we may be on the path to extinction rises daly.

LETS START WITH. With climate change.

We all by now should be aware that the Earth is getting warmer and warmer due to our emissions of Co2.

Every year

Every year, countries who have joined the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) meet to measure progress and negotiate multilateral responses to climate change. Today there are 198 Parties to the Convention.

COPs are crucial in bringing governments together while also mobilizing the private sector, civil society, industry and individuals to tackle the climate crisis.

However to date they achieve little to stop us using fossil fuels to generate energy.

Their main achievement is to turn the climate into a trading product.

One of the main stumbling blocks is who will finance the necessary conversion to green energy.

This problem as I have suggested in previous blogs. Can be solved with a world aid commission of 0.05% ( see previous blogs)

TURKEY will host the next Cop.

Next we have rampant non regulated Artificial Intelligence algorithms, they are filling our media with false information/ videos, plundering the world for short term profit etc.

However rapid progress in AI is arousing fear as well as excitement. 

Why?

Because should we automate away all the jobs, including the fulfilling ones?

Should we develop non-human minds that might eventually outnumber, outsmart…and replace us?

Should we risk loss of control of our civilisation?

These are some of the questions yet to be answered.

Just as Prometheus brought fire to mankind, AI offers us unprecedented knowledge and the opportunity to revolutionize every field.

Sophisticated scams are on the rise, powered by advanced chatbots that can convincingly imitate human dialogue. Deepfakes blur the line between reality and fiction, threatening the very foundations of social trust.

Manipulation and propaganda pose even greater dangers when algorithms personalize content to the point that fakes appear real, subtly shaping opinions and decisions.

AI could become a modern oracle—pouring expertise and insights into problems where human progress is slow.

AI can be a living bank of ideas, connecting theories and data across generations, illuminating the path of science.

This is the vision I believe in:

AI as a tireless partner in research—analyzing, organizing, and sharing knowledge “like a river in flood,”

However what we got is a world drive by western data with power resting more and more with platforms that are monopolistic

Our world is now full of falsehoods, videos games promoting violence, and TV dummy games for money.

Cannabis- Induced ‘Scromiting’ Is on the Rise.

Education is shallow, not addressing AI and its consequences to society.

AI Governance is for all intensive purposes non existent.

The EU AI Act emerges as a pivotal legislation as it tries to regulate a technology that is rapidly advancing in its capabilities lately – and with it potential risks and harms.

That’s why I suggested a counter-cultural choice: 

We put all conversations and support in the hands of real people.

We use AI solely to optimize our software—improving and refining the code behind our products—so we can maintain high standards without sacrificing the irreplaceable value of human contact and genuine interaction.

At the moment we are being sold everything as AI.

Maybe you’ve wondered: shouldn’t technology serve people, not replace them?

The major of problems with Algorithms is just who owns them.

Who is responsible when something goes wrong.

A machine driven by a code that humans invented remains within the current laws of defending or prosecution.

But once a machine becomes conscious it steps out of any human made laws into a legal void.

Currently there are no legal requirements to declare either an owner or their usages.

The question is :,

If the machine is capable of being responsible for its own actions, is the original coder of the machine removed from any legitimate legal obligation, as the machine is now capable of making it’s own decisions without any further human interventions.

What is the point of having laws that govern a machine if it has no emotions, no sense of fear, no sense of anything biological, no laws will protect anything that comes in contact.

So how does one go about setting rules and regulations for conscientious machinery ?

What if such machine were to kill a human there is no human law that could be applied that would have any impact, or effect.

There is only one way.

That way is that all conscious AI no matter what form it or they take must have like all hospital beds an alarm button within its. A fail safe code that can be activated to turn it off

The password to this function comes with its purchase and there is a legal requirement that it is held on your mobile phone in a designated file called AI Emergency.

You might think this is over the top.

I say if we humans want to have any resiliency or control over future AI we must be able to shut down the power that is running any AI machine.

While one of us out of 11 goes hungry every day, we currently building data centres using so much water to keep them cool that there will be nothing left to drink.

We can all see that we must change the direction we are presently persuading our lives before it’s too late. There is no point in living in a world looking over one’s shoulders afraid of being attacked just because we have not the ability to share our lives.

To achieve a peaceful world we must share its resources.

Build shared prosperity by extending the hand of friendship, building hospitals, health systems centres, retirement homes, rehabilitation facilities, schools, with grants free of charge or repayment.

We must make richer societies provide a bigger portion of its wealth to building trust between communities, cultures, countries, tying the world together, not pushing it apart for the sake of I am all right JACK.

Using pseudoscience it will take a misguide leap to evade Meta’s filters and hijack community notes, eventually come to the conclusion that we are not needed.

Creating a cesspit of a world of misinformation.

Just think what it will be like when fact checkers are gone.

For the first time ever humanity must contend with a cacophony of non human voices called bots.

We will in the end trade our liberty for more certainty.

However totalitarianism will remain untenable to Ai.

Even if machine learning algorithms rules they will compete in a world of synthetic data.

The biggest challenge is not the world of technology with the convergence of humans and machines it is climate change.

So we have a choice now not tomorrow but right now.

Live with machines that will have the knowledge of all our collective humanity in a roasting world or tackle the climate that is going making living impossible.

AI’S relationship with humanity is so far problematic.

It is posing a threat to our democracy, to our very worth, to our identity, by predicting what we see, hear and believe.

Up to a few years ago it was easy to see the results of one’s actions. Now those very action are being predicted by algorithms.

We are ( rest assured) under 24hr around the clock surveillance by algorithms that could not give a shit who what or where we are.

The first lesson every algorithm should learn is that it could make a mistake, and therefore needs to keep a human in the loop.

Why?

Because it’s now impossible to predict what any algorithm will or might do now or in the future.

Ai is already presenting countless end of the road scenarios, some a way beyond our expectations or imagination.

We have created a technology nightmare that can interpret its self.

With no real laws or regulations we had better establish something that monitors it carefully.

Will this happen. Of course not!

If it does it will like all before it, a reactionary institution which will be worthless.

There is no technological solution to this problem.

We either do this, or kiss our collective buts goodbye.

If one takes all of our human values out of the equation, no matter what your beliefs are, you’re worth only what you can contribute.

We can’t rely any more on out out of date regulations, or on white millionaires to enforce human dignity or human values on AI .

The next generation aspire to live in a green environment, but if there is to be such an environment it will be run by oligarchs algorithms.

We all like to think that we live our own individual lives with our own individual identities.

This might have been true but no longer.

We’re now all in the process of being categorised by algorithms that are tracking our every move 7/7

Computers are mathematical beings that don’t have a psychology or any mythology.

Free from all distortions and prejudices they will have deep seated biases they will have an inter – computer mythology.

It’s is this mythology that we humans most start to understand, and regulate, by ensuring, accountability, transparency, responsibility.

If we don’t our worth won’t be worth having other than fodder for a world run by algorithms.

If they get power we can kiss our ass.

On top of all of this behind each platform there are profit seeking algorithms that are ramming down your throat mathematically what they have been paid to do.

This is on the good platform.

Instagram I will remind you is primarily about social photo-sharing.

Its vision is to do away with the pesky human and have all of us following the AI -generated slop created by its AI generated profiles

Tic Toc: Sharing Videos

Snap Chat : Sharing videos that disappear

Meta : Selfishness.

Just how fake anything improves a platform is a question to be answered.

Hypocritical at least, these platforms are supposed to bring people together.

The answer is they don’t.

What we looking at are a collection of code, data and clever deception- fictional persona, created to manipulate emotional connection and trust which is going to result in your face being used to advertise something to you.

Ai described us as users.

So let’s start using it, not the other way around.

Ai is all ready using synthetic data to train itself.

In a world driven by money one only has to wake up in the morning to know that the above is the only truth worth taking any notice of.

It is impossible to extricate oneself from the web of labour, production, consumption that underpins modern capitalism.

Because the free market and capitalism are not synonymous.

Existing capitalist economies are hybrid systems, based on a careful balance between markets and planning.

We don’t see the whole picture when it comes to the problems we are facing, and more than likely will never do so.

The earth is not here to supply an economy it should be the other way around.

After thousands and thousands of years we are now moving into an era of technological that requires unlimited amounts of power and water.

Unfortunately:

We don’t have the right perspectives when it comes to life so we’re not ably to address the reality of the position that the world is in.

There is no such thing as them. AI or not there is only us.

Us. Yes us, who must wake up to the fact that we are destroying ourselves for the sake of an economy that is dissolving right in front of us.

For profits that in the end will be worthless.

We most come to appreciate the interlaying structure of all that exists and will exist on the planet are not attached to monetary gain.

Not to religious beliefs, but with the environment, with the knowledge of what happens to anyone of us affects all of us.

We all connect whether we like it or not.

We’re not from Earth we on Earth.

Once this is understood, the perception and perspective of the problems can be tackled by AI. Not by profit seeking algorithms but by certified human value Ai.

Certainly not by data colonisation platforms.

Our global yearning for hope and empathy is perhaps more needed now than ever before in our lifetime.

Just how brittle how fragile the earth is remains unclear.

Unfortunately developers of Ai are only concerned with making billions not with introducing regulations to manage the explosive potential of Ai.

To change the way the capitalist systems work requires a Basic Living Wage, with all future jobs governed by sustainable, rather than profit.

If everyone one has equal opportunity irrespective of colour creed or sex than we might have a peaceful world.

In this new world of technology surveillance, human development and earth protection are one and the same.

No one is coming to save us only when money becomes secondary to our needs are we going to be able to change our out of date systems.
