There’s no secret.

The Presidency of the USA has always been bought.

Donald Dump is no exception.

In the eurozone there are 5 million people on social assistance.

In the USA there are over 1000 million on social welfare @ 1862 $ a month

Most of it is spent on medical care.

If Mr Dump wants an American war this is where to start one in his own backyard.

This man is a fascism and should be awarded a tin laurel leaf sprayed gold to join his others two Fascism compatriots, and we all know who they are.

There is a lot to be said to give one big and powerful a kick up the arse. Noble prize winner not on my watch. This man is a danger not just to himself but to all peace abiding people of the world.

It takes an enormous amount of courage when there’s no one out there to call this man the Al Capone of the founders of the USA, DONALD DUCKING.

How would have dreamed that we would have a convicted felon running the USA.

What next?

Then truth comes out in the bone.

Even some states rely on assistance.

China has over 82 payments system., with mandatory state unemployment payments.

However it is estimated that there are over 200 to 300 million people homeless in china.

It cost around 600$ a month for a single person to live in china.

Health care is heavily subsidised.

Here are some of the major issues facing the Chinese. Just like the rest of the world Climate change is the problem of the future .

Unless we pour billions into Lessing the effect of climate change . We will have a china on the move and that will be worse than a nuclear boom.

Just take a look at the state of our world never mind the planet we all live on.

What do you see?

Not the multibillionairs, not the bible bashing churches, not the starving, not the homeless, not the refugees, not the beauty of the planet with its finite resources, not the billions of us, not the future, not the past, and certainly not a world that after millions of years of evolution you would be proud of handing on, never mind want to live in.

Instead. What one see is.

We’ve got little understanding of what makes us human.

We’re got the capacity and ability to wipe yourself off the face of the planet.

We’ve got worthless spending on defence, when a AI cyber attack could wipe out not just computers, companies, countries but all of us.

We’ve got a world with organisations like the UN out of date, crippled by vetoes.

We’ve got NATO a war mongering USA military Organisation, spreading fear.

We’ve got an international Court that has no credibility.

We’ve got verbal diarrhoea on tackling climate change.

We’ve got Putin and Donald Dump and Benjamin along with Kim Jong to name a few with nuclear war heads, not forgetting Ali.

We’ve got terrorists.

We’ve got ripoff tax regimes.

We’ve got politicians that can’t see past the next election.

We’ve got growing inequality.

We’ve got pollution in our seas in our air in our stomach.

We’ve got sex maniacs, mentally unstable youths.

We’ve got populations with smartphones that are destroying any critical thinking.

We’ve got religious beliefs to beat the ban.

We’ve got termites hills called cities.

We’ve got artificial intelligence collecting data for free turning us into digital citizens.

We’ve got voting systems out of date.

Just look at any systems we support to elected governments.

The UK is a prime example with First pass the voting system.

The whole political system was set up on the back of military might that established an empire that enriched its self through slavery.

A country that turned its back on the Europe Union..established not to foster just a single market but peace among nations.

Like most western countries its got political parties, supporting different entities, different ideologies, promoting different philosophy, all supposedly representing the majority of the voting electorate, making promises that are lucky to last to the next salary rise.

These parties form governments with heads of state.

Heads of departments are then appointed from within the party to run the country on the taxpayers money, which is collect by taxing everything from food to football till death to do you depart, with fines for nonpayment.

On top of this there are local councils elections, made up of the parties and independents to elect councils. There are 650 councils.

Government to this day remains without a written constitution and subject to Royal approval that owns half the country.

You could say the English are still surf to a non elected King/ Dictator.

The cost to tax payers over the working career of the average Mp is 90 thousand odd plus expenses against the average Joe soap salary of 45 thousand.

So 690 MP @ 90 thousand = 64 million odd , for mps that cannot be removed from office unless the party in office expels the individual.

Then there is the upper house of parliament the House of Lords 450 of them taking home on average twice the salary of a working man, ( With 33 of them inactive taking home a meats 500,000 in tax free expenses. )

Add a few state dinner @ 400,000 and you have the bill to the tax payer.

The elected government then spends around 1.6 billion running the country.

The public can get a petition presented to parliament proving it’s has 100,000. However they cannot with a million signatures get a Mp fired.

If you think that’s bad have a look at the Eurozone and its system .

One could say we’ve got it all to turn our planet into a tax paying black hole.

Not until we recognise fully the need to protect the environment, can we place a true value on humanity, even then with enormous insecurity and uncertainty driven by short term thinking and a growing population of the haves and have nots will we be able as humans change direction.

We all know that the world is changing and that with what ever kind of technology , immigration, climate change you want to name or blame.

All pointing to we are going to have to stop killing each other and learn to live together.

The earth provides us with life not money not AI not religion, not military might, and certainly not any philosophy that does not take into account our ancestors or actions.

Our systems to govern or to protect the environment are completely out of control.

Political polarisation due to AI is destroying our self governance and our democracy institutions.

THE BEADY EYE SAY’S: WHERE IS MIGRATION GOING TO GO?

Understand where migrants come from, where they go, and why migration is increasing, is going to be a major problem with climate change.

Why it’s time to rethink migration?

Because it’s increasingly likely that people will encounter—or become—migrants in their lifetime.

Just imagine if Chinese people had to move (1,425,293,425) it would be worse than a nuclear bomb.

Faced with such a reality, the question is not whether migration is right or wrong. The question is how can we make it work best to support prosperity and development for countries of destination, countries of origin, and the migrants themselves.

This is where the debate often becomes confused because we use a single word — migration — to refer to distinct types of movements that have different impacts, and call for different policy responses than  trafficking in humans legally or non legal.

The challenge is to manage the cost, to reduce it and to share it as global.

Climate change along with inequality requires smarter policies for global development and a prosperous future.

Where people migrate depends on what’s happening in the world shaped by new global challenges, the rise of technology, and protracted modern conflicts, in Sudan, the Middle East and Ukraine.

—————–

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) estimated that by the end of 2022, over 100 million people were forcibly displaced. Syrians, Palestinians, and Afghans account for more than half of all refugees.

Around 80 percent of refugees live outside camps.

Out of the 60.9 million recorded displacements that occurred last year, 32.6 million, were due to climate disasters, including floods, drought and landslides.

More than 280 million people—roughly one out of every thirty people on earth—currently live in a country in which they were not born.

This means that more than 1 in every 74 people have been forcibly displaced.

—————–

Though migration is not a new phenomenon, it takes on a new significance in an increasingly interconnected world.

Migration—who migrates, where, and why—is constantly evolving. #WorldOnTheMove

“Flotsam of Humanity”

The majority of migrants, however, are pulled to countries that offer better economic prospects for themselves or their families.

People are far more likely to be international migrants today than in the recent past.

About one-third of all international migrants come from just ten countries. However, numbers alone don’t tell the whole story:

Many refugees and asylum seekers, who make up just over 10 percent of the world’s international migrants, have more than likely previously within their own countries. 763 million people are internal migrants, who have moved within their country.

High-income nations hosted a majority of international migrants.

That’s not surprising considering that a vast majority of the world’s international migrants are economic migrants who have voluntarily left their countries for better economic opportunities elsewhere.

In 2020, 93.9% of all people living in the United Arab Emirates were international migrants, followed by 80.6% of people in Qatar and 71.3% of people in Kuwait.

The U.S. has more migrants than any other nation, but migrants only account for about 15.1% of the U.S. population – a smaller share than in 24 countries or territories with a total population of at least 1 million.

Though India is the single largest source of international migrants, its 17.9 million migrants in 2020 accounted for only 1.3% of all people born in India by that year.

By comparison, the United Kingdom’s 4.7 million international migrants accounted for 7.6% of those born in the UK by 2020. Mexico’s 11.2 million international migrants accounted for 8.2% of those born in Mexico.

Many of the forces driving migration today are.

  • Poverty
  • Conflict and violence
  • Persecution
  • Political instability
  • Economic opportunity
  • Competition for resources
  • Natural disasters and environmental changes
  • Reuniting families

Who decides which migrants receive refugee status?

The UN Refugee Convention defines a refugee as any person who owing to well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality and is unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country; or who, not having a nationality and being outside the country of his former habitual residence as a result of such events, is unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to return to it. 146 nations agree to this definition.

However, host governments ultimately get to decide whether to recognize someone as a refugee. This protective status is known as asylum.

Both refugees and asylum seekers are fleeing for their safety. However, the distinction between these two, though seemingly small, makes a big difference in how they are treated by governments and international organizations.

Just like refugees and asylum seekers, internally displaced persons by the end of 2022, there were over seventy-one million. This is nearly twice the number of refugees in the world. They don’t have the same protections as refugees.  International law does not apply to them. Instead, they fall under the laws of their own national government.

Predictions in the field of migration appear particularly difficult given the complexity and diversity of the migration processes, the limited availability and quality of data, and the limited understanding of the migration drivers.

Borders define our fate, our life expectancy, our identity, and so much more.

With up to three billion people expected to be displaced by the effects of global warming by the end of the century, should it lead to a shift in the way we think about national borders.

It can be argued, however, that most of these imaginary lines are not fit for the world of the 21st Century with its soaring population, dramatic climate change and resource scarcity.

As global temperatures increase, causing climate change, sea level rise and extreme weather over the coming decades, large parts of the world that are home to some of the biggest populations will become increasingly hard to live in.

Unable to adapt to increasingly extreme conditions, millions – or even billions – of people will need to move.

One to three billion people are projected to be left outside the climate conditions that have served humanity well over the past 6,000 years.

The threat posed by climate change and its social repercussions dwarf those surrounding national security.

Enabling free movement could double global GDP.

In addition, we would see an increase in cultural diversity, which studies show improves innovation. At a time when we have to solve unprecedented environmental and social challenges, it could be just what is need. What if we thought of the planet as a global commonwealth of humanity, in which people were free to move wherever they wanted? We’d need a new mechanism to manage global labour mobility far more effectively and efficiently – it is our biggest economic resource, after all.

THE CHANCES OF THIS HAPPING IS ZERO.

THE BEADY EYE SAYS. WE NEED A GLOBAL UNDERSTANDING OF MIGRATION .

( Ten-minute read)

Science shows that Europe is a continent of immigrants and always has been. All Europeans today are a mix. The people who live in a place today are not the descendants of people who lived there long ago.

When one looks back on history most countries were established by migration with the removable of the Aboriginal (original) inhabitants. The tribes of America, the Maori of New Zealand, the Aborigines of Australia, and three waves of immigrants settled in prehistoric Europe.

In an era of debate over migration and borders, Migrant and refugee are just two of the many terms we use to describe people who are seeking new homes in other countries. It is becoming increasingly common to see the terms ‘refugee’ and ‘migrant’ being used interchangeably in media and public discourse.

But is there a difference between the two, and does it matter?

Simply speaking, a migrant is someone who chooses to move, and a refugee is someone who has been forced from their home.

The distinction is an important one, as there are certain rights for people deemed refugees, whereas migrants have no such rights.Hundreds of refugees and migrants crossing the Mediterranean aboard a fishing boat, moments before being rescued by the Italian Navy as part of their Mare Nostrum operation in June 2014.

All people are born with fundamental rights and dignity. That includes migrants.

Behind every migrant family and host community is a story. The stories can be positive or negative, but we cannot hope to understand migration without hearing them. There are presently around 258 million international migrants. That figure is proliferating since the turn of the millennium when there were 173 million.

Migrants are subjected to a country’s immigration laws and procedures and can be turned away or deported back to their homeland.

No matter what name migration is given it is just not the movement of people from one place to another it is a mixing of cultures.  (Cultural diffusion is the spread of cultural beliefs and social activities from one group of people to another. The mixing of world cultures through different ethnicities, religions, and nationalities has only increased with advanced communication, transportation, and technology.)

An asylum seeker is someone who has asked the government for refugee status and is waiting to hear the outcome of his or her application.

It becomes clear that we cannot just look at migration at the national level. Of course, governments decide on their own migration laws and policies – whether they have to do with security, education, health, or employment. They have done this throughout history. They do it today.

Our current response to international migration is sustainable.

In general, migrants pay more taxes than receive benefits. Newcomers also enrich the cultures of their host communities, and those who return to their countries of origin bring back new skills and ideas. Yet irregular migration is a continuous challenge that exposes migrants themselves to exploitation and abuse. And host communities also have legitimate concerns that we need to listen to.

For example.

The recent UK and Rwanda migration and economic development partnership to address shared international challenge of illegal migration and break the business model of people-smuggling gangs. Rwanda where a genocidal war killed 800,000 people has already around 150,000 refugees from neighboring Burundi and DR Congo.

( It is not the first time  England has exported the unwanted. Today, one in five Australians is the descendant of a convict from Ireland or England. Australia’s oldest city Sydney in the late 18th century was a penal colony to house its surplus of petty criminals — a murky past that continues to leave its mark on the country today.)

                            ——————————

The reality of migration as seen in statistics does not always correspond to what we hear in public discussions.

There are an estimated 272 million international migrants – 3.5% of the world’s population. Although refugees and internally displaced persons make up a relatively small portion of the total number of migrants, they are often most in need of help.

India remains the main origin of international migrants, with 17.5 million Indian-born people living abroad. Mexico and China both also have more than 10 million former residents spread around the world.

Asia hosts the most migrants, with 80 million residing in the region.

In fact, almost 80 percent of English speakers in the world are non-native speakers due to the spread of the language through imperialism and trade.

Cultural diffusion is rapidly becoming the human face of climate change.

Internal climate migrants are Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Latin America could see more than 140 million people move within their countries’ borders by 2050.

Although migration is a global phenomenon, there is still no global understanding of how to manage it. No single country can manage migration on its own because it is motivated, first and foremost, by the lack of economic opportunities at home.

If migration is managed properly, migrants can boost economic growth by filling gaps in fast-growing sectors and by increasing the working-age population.

This is the true beauty of cultural diffusion, that expansion of the mind.

                                ——————————-

The global approach to asylum and migration is broken.

We have a small window now, before the effects of climate change deepen, to prepare the ground for this new reality.

Together with the increasing volume, we are seeing changing demographics, advancing technology, evolving needs of labor markets, and continued challenges posed by wars, shortages, human rights violations, and climate change WHEN ANY HOPE OF ORDERLY AND REGULATED MIGRATION  WILL DISAPPEAR WITH THE GLOBAL SOUTH POURING INTO THE  THE GLOBAL NORTH.

Moreover, climate change, as indicated by a recent World Bank report, will accelerate the trend, by driving an estimated 140 million people from their homes in the coming decades.People arriving in Dover today after being picked up trying to cross the channel in a small boat.

Be under no illusion; people smugglers are not humanitarians. They are organized criminals whose evil business finances other serious crimes. The challenge, then, is to find a sustainable solution that is fair to everybody. There is no single solution.
