To live is the rarest thing in the world.

We live in a world that seems increasingly beyond our control.

Our livelihoods are at the whim of algorithms and globalised forces, while most of our politicians are distant and unresponsive to our desires.

We are becoming just products of our times.

The individual is just a myth; human behavior can be reduced to statistical trends.

You can’t control what happens, but you can control how you react to it.

To breathe lungfuls of life that gasp you awake from the trance of near-living induced by the system of waste and want we call civilisation, is becoming more and more difficult.

The world we live in is beautiful beyond the Smart Phone and what is called Shorts on U Tube.

The unknown is in some sense always beyond us because it is always inside us— that is what true solitude reveals, why it can be so clarifying and so terrifying at the same time, but as long as we are waiting, we are not living.

Life is an everlasting need to make the unknown known.

Not for the sake of knowing, not to inform itself or be informed or wise, but for the need to exercise the need to know?

We live for those fantastic and unreal moments of beauty which our thoughts may build upon the passing panorama of experience.

These moments are only possible with education, travel, and sharing.

What is that need but the imagination’s hunger for the new and raw materials of its creative trade of the mind.

The most elemental questions of existence — why are we here, how did we get here, what does it mean to be alive, to have purpose, to wield a will against the given of the universe?

These questions will never be answered by artificial intelligence, it will require a conceptual brain that is fully conscious.

When critical thinking dies. Stupidity taker over.,

Life is all around us. In most cases it has evolved and is still evolving, but are we coming to the end of its evolutionary ability with AGI.

Life I suppose is that which we choose to give it.

According to Wikipedia :

“ The  meaning of life is the concept of an individual’s life’s human life, or existences in general having an inherent significance or a philosophical point.”

“There is no consensus on the specifics of such a concept, or whether the concept itself even exists in any objective sense.”

It’s not a mood or an achievement, but a way of seeing reality clearly and still saying yes to life.

With the arrival of the internet / social media/ profit seeking Algorithms/ and the forthcoming AGI it’s becoming boring because joy is less about ease and more about connection, openness, and love.

We are already trading the complex diversity of human thought for an ultra-processed linguistic diet.

The traditional advice to “trust your eyes and ears” has become dangerously obsolete, as has our tendency toward “seeing is believing.”

But can Hybrid intelligence, marry human intuition with AI’s analytical rigor, can amplify human potential.

As we move toward a hybrid future, the intimate relationship between natural intelligence and artificial intelligence  (AI) is becoming essential to our identity.

We’ve entered an era of hybrid intelligence where the line between our words and the algorithms that suggest them blurs.

The loss of linguistic diversity may be the first warning sign of deeper issues ahead.

Consider what happens when an AI knows you’re most susceptible to emotional appeals late at night, understands exactly which conspiracy theories align with your existing anxieties, and can deploy that knowledge with perfect timing.

Language is more than a communication tool; it’s the scaffolding of thought. 

We are in the midst of a rupture of life on Earth with not just AI but climate change and the ignorance of a United States president named Donald Dump tearing what left of world order, it’s time we stood up and be counted.

It would be fair to say that we are now on borrowed time to do anything about the direction of life is going.

How we answer this is as it always has been will determine our lives.

Unfortunately with AI we are no longer sure what the right choice is.

My personal opinion is that I am applaud by the lack of attention our governments are paying to the problems that AI is creating, which is and will be on a vast scale.

If we don’t now enshrine human values into a future with AGI it will create its own values.

We readily embrace the promise of effortless efficiency.

But are we trading the complex diversity of human thought for eco chambers.

In work and life environments where AI is increasingly pervasive, our brains consume linguistic fast food—sweet and easy to swallow, but lacking the complex nutrients of local dialect, spicy slang, and idiosyncratic quirks.

Are we heading toward a future where vocabularies become uniform, mirroring how American fast food exported a simplified flavor palette worldwide?

The implications extend beyond language.

Beyond concerns about linguistic marginalization, we should worry about the homogenization of certain values and mindsets. 

Consider how AI handles conflict resolution.

JAI productivity tools assume time is linear, scarce, and must be optimized, a distinctly Western industrial framework.

Even concepts of time reflect cultural bias.

To prevent mental fast-foodization, we must practice active cognitive resistance, which starts with double literacy: using AI for efficiency while maintaining the natural intelligence to judge, critique, and override it.

Accept AI as part of our cognitive ecosystem, but don’t accept its outputs as truth or finality. 

These same technologies are learning to exploit the very cognitive shortcuts that helped our ancestors survive, shortcuts that now make us vulnerable to manipulation at a unprecedented scale.

Live your life don’t let it be sold as a product for profit.

Our mind is our biggest friend and enemy when it comes to the hybrid future.

AI can deceive us, but only if we adopt an attitude of chosen blindness will it succeed.

Social media platforms exploit these tendencies brilliantly, offering instant dopamine  hits from likes and shares, training us to crave quick emotional rewards rather than slower, more demanding forms of understanding.

Then time has come to open our eyes and look at what we’d rather not see.

None of us asked to be born so life owes you nothing. 

You are born in one place at one specific time, however its value depends a lot on luck.

Where, you are born, When you are born.

From a biological stand point it is to procreate and pass on genes, but since we are capable of abstract though, things get complicated and a bit messy.

So life is a challenge.

Your brain is trying to understand itself using itself.

It’s absurd, isn’t it?

Life is designed to have experiences, and these can only be had by living it not by watching TV or glued to a smartphone.

You spend around one third sleeping and it’s not until the last third that we begin to know what we want out of life.

TV was designed to be a pacifier for adults to keep them complacent while brainwashing them with advertising.

Smart phones are also a similar tool.

Saturated with algorithms promoting on social media what ever they are designed to achieve.

The world as we know it makes living life and dying a product rather than value to be cherished.

As governments step up in areas like housing, energy transition, digital infrastructure and industrial policy, the ability to execute is becoming the real differentiator.

Most governments don’t lack ambition. They lack delivery infrastructure.

The result?

Reform fatigue, cynicism, and missed opportunities.

The gap between ambition and action is why living and dying costs an arm and a leg.

There is no need for the theatre of endless meetings to release that the earth we all exist on has finet resources and there is a need for conscious, capable and deliberate delivery of these resources.

Big reforms are announced, bold targets are set — and then delivery stalls. Implementation lack attention, ideas get watered down and momentum is lost. The intent was sound, but outcomes don’t follow.

Life is for giving not taking.

Stop taking things for granted and learn to appreciate the little things in life, because you don’t know when things can change.

If you want a life that rewards you travel. It opens the mind and gives you memories.

Give 3 pounds a month, Give 5 pounds a month to save every thing from animal to children, provide hot meals and shelter, cancer research, you name it and it’s begging for funds.

Since the arrival of the internet, social media, algorithms not to mention climate change, our world has been desensitising to what really matters.

Our governments give billions to wars, and the millions airs of the world line their pockets shafting the underdogs with algorithms.

The US has carried out – or been a partner to – 622 overseas bombings in all, using drones or aircraft, since January 20, 2025, when Trump took office.

Russia is engaged in an aggressive campaign of subversion and sabotage against European and U.S. targets, which complement Russia’s brutal conventional war in Ukraine. 

Actions below the threshold of conventional warfare have long been an important component of statecraft.

Such as gray zone activity, political warfare, asymmetric conflict, unconventional warfare, and low-intensity conflict.

These types of activities involve using tools of statecraft below the threshold of conventional warfare to shift the balance of power in their favor.

Examples include:

  • Information and influence operations, including psychological operations and propaganda.
  • Offensive cyber operations and electronic warfare.
  • Support to state and non-state partners, such as guerrillas and proxy forces.
  • Covert and clandestine actions by intelligence and special operations forces, including sabotage and subversion.
  • Economic coercion.

We need to wrap our heads around what is happening as this is another Titanic waiting to happen.

There was a day when customers service was promoted as a must. Now with AI it’s all about removing the humane involvement in a transaction or enquiry.

Press 1 press 2 . Automated check out you name it.

There is little interest in giving a service.

Ever decisions in life is being reduce to avoiding been rip off by scams and frauds.

One of the biggest rip off is the royal family in the uk with an income of 71 million that can never go down even if the country is going broke.

The core contradictions of capitalism—identified by history—reveal a system fundamentally at war with itself, human dignity, and planetary survival. Workers create all value collectively, yet owners hoard it individually.

The top 1% owns 45% of global wealth; the bottom 50% owns 1%.

Luxury yachts rot in docks while 800 million starve. Capital destroys “excess”

Rising awareness that our current world system is dangerously unstable, due to a combination of capitalism and nationalism is woefully lacking .

I cannot imagine a stable world, unless capitalism disappeared and countries united or at least moderated nationalism.

If you buy into the idea that the wealthy control everything and have all the power and current democracy is a then you can’t believe capitalism will ever collapse because those in power will do anything to keep their wealth and power.

Not to mention climate change.

The basic tenet of Capitalism:

That humans innately need personal profit to stimulate growth or would otherwise feel desensitised in a socialist society, is incredibly wrong and is what capitalism has striven to do.

We should strive to attain a society that minimises inequality. A society that serves us and not the market.

The global economy works completely differently today bearing little resemblance so is it still capitalism?

Capitalism has enough juice to keep going long enough to be shut down by catastrophic climate change.

Capitalism will strive forward like a metallic terminator skeleton through the fires of climate and ecological crisis unless we figure out a way to weaken or replace it.

It is becoming painfully obvious that the forces shaping our world are operating globally, while the forces resisting them were being left to fight in isolation.

It is also painfully obvious that our lives are being destroyed by social media, profiteering algorithms, and assholes who are incapable of understanding that we need to invest in the environment.

FROM POLLUTION BY CHEMICAL SPRAYING TO CLIMATE CHANGES. IF WE DON’T DO ANYTHING NOW IT WILL BE TOO LATE

WE ALL NEED A HEALTH ENVIRONMENT TO SUSTAIN LIFE

The ultimate objective of capitalism is private ownership which has produced massive corruption and inequality, all in the pursuit of profit no matter the cost.

To day this economic system’s is all around us.

From politics to technology it is supported by a market based ideology, that encourages growth to the detriments of any values that are essential to all living things.

Surplus and demand drives this market. When the earth and all living things on it have been destroyed, and not a moment sooner will it stop.

( But for a beautiful moment in time we created a lot of shareholder value” is the end game of capitalism. The hubris is beyond anything we’ve ever experienced.)

When the last fish is eaten, the last tree is cut down, the last stream poisoned, …..man will know that we cannot eat money.

What if anything can be done to change its direction?

We now have the technology to apply and collect a world aid commission of 0.05% charge on all activities that do not comply to sustainable.

This could be placed on Sovereign Funds, The stock exchange (which is run by algorithms,) on profit seeking algorithms, on lottery and gambling winnings, on toll roads bridges and tunnels.

Such a commission would spread the cost of tackling climate change and the regeneration of the environment fairly.

The current set of problems facing the world is exposing as never before just how fragile we humans are.

We are facing three major challenges ( over which we have no control) CLIMATE CHANGE and ARTIFICIAL-INTELLIGENCE + SOCIAL MEDIA

The question is do we want to live or just exist in a world run by a few wealthy people.

These days it appears that we don’t want to hold powerful people to account.

They get a headline and thats it.

Take for example.

Prince Andrew who thought his privilege position would protect him till he became Andy.

Or

George Michel former US senator who played a critical role in Northern Ireland’s peace process once described his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as a “blessing”.

He is now an old codger, but age should not excuse his crimes.

Donald Dump has gone to great lengths to sweep the whole Epstine thing under the carpet.

Epstine died by suicide.

The fragility of humans was especially shown in the two world wars.

A prime example would be the 7th Panzer Division brutality (that should never be forgotten ) as it made its way to Normandy, massacring all that stood in its way.

Or the recent brutal force of Israel retaliation. Committing a Genocide in response to an attack that killed around 1000 it has wiped out 60,000 Palestines, as the world watched it do so with impunity.

Humanity had always been fragile and will remain so till it learns to live in peace.

In order to make any difference we have to change the way we protect our shared human values. Somehow we must place them beyond the reach of ourselves where they are protected against any technological advances, wars etc.

Ukraine Russia war which is now four years old.

This can only be achieved with universal agreement to tackle, control what is self evident.

Climate change is self evident. Humanity must choose profit or a liveable planet

Artificial intelligence is less self evident. Digital slavery or freedom.

Social Media is evidence in abundance. False information or the truth.

What happened?

Well the crude Europeans in the name of GOD sacked its holy places in Jerusalem, stole Islam’s science, its mathematics, its art to bring about their Renaissance, rose to dominate most of the rest of the globe, and then scooped up the majority of Muslims into their European empires.

September 11 committed by a tiny minority of extremist misfits that killed over 300 people resulted in the Taliban been turfed out of power in Afghanistan with Saddam Hudson somehow replacing bin Laden as the most evil man of history.

Causing a pre- emotive war to get rid of him and his alleged weapons of mass destruction in Iraq occurred with no weapons of mass destruction only a pathetic man with a beard hiding in a hole.

Since then it seems the world has changed into isolation with Russia trying to take advantage of its disunity to grab the Ukraine back by force into is empire.

The more one reflects on what really matters in human existence the more you become alienated from a culture that is obsessed with materialism.

These days we barely have time to absorb one event before ten others replace it.

Society is now governed by Social Media which is incapable of expressing any critical thinking to tackle the real problems facing all of us in a world that needs to unite to have any hope against CLIMATE CHANGE or ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.

It’s now or never that we need to come together, not isolation, not Donald Dump, nor Mr Putin, nor most of the Islam I am all right Jack world, while we watch inequality expand across the globe.

Insh’ Allah might descend a religious philosophy in one word however ever I prefer the word bolloxed.

The main reason I believe this to be true is the United States support not just for Israel on one hand but it also continues to support the hardline and repressive Saudi Royal family that has spawned terrorists like Bin Laden over the past years.

With the war and recent genocide against Palestine Israeli has ensured a steady supply of Hamas for the future while Iraq has probably had probably already created hundreds of Bin Laden clones.

We must remember that 1600 years of religious debate and rivalry haven’t nor will it have any effect on the apparently permanent state of ISlAM.

The fastest growing religion now accounting for one in four of the world’s 6.6 billion people.

There is no axis of evil .

The pariah states have either closed shop (which is very unlikely ) or the USA under the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION is no longer seen as a threat by them.

I often wonder what these people ( who are supposed to be running the world?) think when they wake up.

Certainly, not Climate change, certainly not the Ukraine/Russian war, nor the Pakistan / Israel situation.

What ever they are thinking you can rest assured it’s short termed, local and of little importance when it comes to the problems the world.

We are now plagued with social media, sensationalism press, and wanking commentators, on everything, turning the whole lot into a product with 24/24, in your face advertising.

Soon it won’t matter as our ability for critical thinking is coming to an end with the arrival of General Artificial Intelligence.

Does anyone really give a FUCK ?

If they do they very much in the minority.

The major of problems with Algorithms is just who owns them.

Who is responsible when something goes wrong.

A machine driven by a code that humans invented remains within the current laws of defending or prosecution.

But once a machine becomes conscious it steps out of any human made laws into a legal void.

Currently there are no legal requirements to declare either an owner or their usages.

The question is :,

If the machine is capable of being responsible for its own actions, is the original coder of the machine removed from any legitimate legal obligation, as the machine is now capable of making it’s own decisions without any further human interventions.

What is the point of having laws that govern a machine if it has no emotions, no sense of fear, no sense of anything biological, no laws will protect anything that comes in contact.

So how does one go about setting rules and regulations for conscientious machinery ?

What if such machine were to kill a human there is no human law that could be applied that would have any impact, or effect.

There is only one way.

That way is that all conscious AI no matter what form it or they take must have like all hospital beds an alarm button within its. A fail safe code that can be activated to turn it off

The password to this function comes with its purchase and there is a legal requirement that it is held on your mobile phone in a designated file called AI Emergency.

You might think this is over the top.

I say if we humans want to have any resiliency or control over future AI we must be able to shut down the power that is running any AI machine.

While one of us out of 11 goes hungry every day, we currently building data centres using so much water to keep them cool that there will be nothing left to drink.
