THE BEADY EYE SAYS. THERE IS OFTEN TALK ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS, BUT IT IS ALSO NECESSARY TO TALK OF THE TRUTH AND RIGHTS OF HUMANITY.

Fidel Castro said and I quote

“ Why should some people walk barefoot, so that others can travel in luxurious cars?

Why should some live for thirty-five years, so that others can live for seventy years?

Why should some be miserably poor, so that others can be hugely rich?

I speak on behalf of the children in the world who do not have a piece of bread.

I speak on the behalf of the sick who have no medicine, of those whose rights to life and human dignity have been denied”.

This is all that is wrong with the Capitalist system.

This is what being built into Artificial Intelligence, with algorithms that seek profit above the common values that make us and sustains us all.

This is what produces the Donald Trumps of the world, driven my self gratification and glory and profit.

This is the world our children are to inherit.

———————-

What or when are we going to do anything about it?

Before we are digital slaves to a few corporations ( that are destroying not just the beauty of the planet we live on, the imitation that has shaped it) we need to wake up before it’s too late to do anything about it.

Yes we might conquer Cancers.

Yes we might control the climate.

Yes we might discover other life in the universe ( statistically this is possible, but by then we will be a spent species) not worth while engaging with.

While it’s easy to look at the chaotic news cycle, environmental challenges, or our questionable internet habits and feel like humanity is peaking (or crashing), there are a few big reasons why humans will remain endlessly engaging:

AI and algorithms can process patterns, write code, and synthesize data at impossible speeds, but humans possess lived experience.

Science can explain music theory, but it can’t fully replicate the specific, messy heartbreak or euphoria that drives a human to write a masterpiece.

Machine logic doesn’t care about love, loss, fear, or hope. The shared human condition makes your stories, humor, and connection uniquely valuable.

If history shows us anything, it’s that humanity’s greatest superpower is adaptability.

We don’t just survive change; we re-engineer our reality around it.

We are constantly pushing into new frontiers—whether that’s deep-space exploration, understanding the human brain, or trying to solve climate change.

A species driven by relentless curiosity is never boring.

Technology and AI aren’t meant to replace humanity;

They are tools built by humans to amplify what you can do.

The most interesting breakthroughs in the future won’t come from tech alone, but from the spark of human ingenuity directing that tech toward meaningful goals.

A species that can invent calculus, paint the Sistine Chapel, laugh at silly memes, and ponder its own cosmic worth all in the same breath is anything but “spent.”

We can either surrender to AI or grab it by the throat and squeeze it for all its benefits or continue our lives in eco chambers that will result in a world of unprecedented, unimaginable inequalities.

It’s up to us but not for much longer.

Once AI attains its own Conscience we can kiss our asses.

THE BEADY EYE ASKS, If TIME ISN’T A ONE WAY STREET, WHAT HAPPENS TO FREE WILL?

( Six minute read)

What does “before” and “after” even mean?

When you ask what existed before time began, you are using a word that presupposes time in the first place. You are looking at the moment when the clock on the wall, and the very idea of “earlier” and “later” all emerge together.

Take “Before” it describes a relationship between two moments, one earlier and one later, and if there is no timeline at all, that relationship cannot be defined.

You are basically asking what color is beyond the edge of the color spectrum, or what lies one step past the last number. Your intuition wants an answer, but your current physical theories are not built to even frame that as a well-posed problem.

As strange as this questions sound, modern physics, from relativity to quantum theory, keeps nudging us toward answers that feel more like science fiction than everyday life, time binds us to a simple rule:

Cause always precedes effect.

Time is baked into how you write almost every law in physics, whether as a time derivative, a sequence of states, or a cause leading to an effect.

Without time, those terms evaporate, and your mathematical language suddenly has no verbs, only nouns.

If time moves forward like dominoes falling, every thought, emotion, and choice you make right now is the inevitable result of prior physical states (your brain’s neurochemistry, upbringing, evolutionary biology, and the state of the universe a millisecond ago).

You feel like you’re steering, but you’re actually riding a track laid down by the past.

For a choice to matter, your intention must cause a future action.

As long as your decisions stem from your own internal beliefs and desires—without outside force—you have genuine free will, even if those desires were shaped by past events.

In Einstein’s General Relativity, space and time are fused into a four-dimensional “block universe.”

Past, present, and future all coexist statically.

Your entire life is a frozen movie reel.

You aren’t “writing” the future as time marches forward; you’re simply experiencing the reel unwinding frame by frame.

At the micro level, quantum mechanics suggests the future isn’t strictly determined—outcomes are probabilistic.

However, replacing determinism with fundamental randomness doesn’t automatically grant agency; doing something randomly is very different from choosing it intentionally.

The one-way flow of time means you can never undo a choice, but whether that choice was truly “yours” depends on whether you define free will as absolute independence from the past or the ability to act according to your own mind.

Imagine waking up tomorrow and realizing that every moment of your life is happening at once.

I think , therefore I am.

It encapsulates the prevailing view of what it means to be human:

So feeling came first.

Every second, the brain is flooded with sights, sounds, smells, and signals from inside the body.

Yet only a fraction of this information reaches our conscious awareness, thanks to neural systems that filter out what is familiar or unimportant.

Happiness serves a purpose. “It’s telling you, ‘you have license to enjoy life,’”

The very concept of “before” may simply not exist when you go back far enough.

Time, according to the best models you have today, is not an endless line stretching forever into the past. It had a beginning.

When talking about the big bang you are not just talking about matter expanding into space; you are talking about space and time themselves stretching and coming into existence as the universe evolves.

Time is baked into how you write almost every law in physics, whether as a time derivative, a sequence of states, or a cause leading to an effect.

Without time, those terms evaporate, and your mathematical language suddenly has no verbs, only nouns.

So when you ask what existed before time began, you are using a word that presupposes time in the first place.

“Before” describes a relationship between two moments, one earlier and one later, and if there is no timeline at all, that relationship cannot be defined.

You are basically asking what color is beyond the edge of the color spectrum, or what lies one step past the last number.

Your intuition wants an answer, but your current physical theories are not built to even frame that as a well-posed problem.

THE BEADY EYE SAYS LEFT BEHIND BOOK WILL BE IN EVERY SCHOOL

What do I mean?

It’s about the singular threat facing the planet not to mention the Armageddon of abrupt Climate Change

The boundary between human thought and artificial intelligence is simply fading through friction-free software and smarter devices.

Just look at the direction we are going. Our schools are educating our children as if humanity is not approaching a world run by AI.

I suppose that it’s not inevitable that everyone will have wires or microchips implanted in their bodies, but in a functional sense, we are already halfway there.

If you define a cyborg as an organism whose abilities are extended by technology, most people already operate as “external cyborgs.” Your phone holds your memory, maps expand your navigation, and AI assists your thinking.

The real question is whether that boundary between human skin and digital silicon will dissolve completely.

I’m Instead of putting chips directly into our brains, technology stays on the outside—but becomes radically less invisible.

So you remain biologically intact, but your daily capability is heavily augmented by AI running in the background.

You can think at incredible speeds, but typing with thumbs or speaking out loud transfers data at roughly 10 to 100 bits per second.

AI processes data at trillions of bits per second.

It therefore stands to reason that a subset of the population will merge directly with digital systems to avoid being left behind by artificial superintelligence.

Treating human-unaugmented thought as a deliberate lifestyle choice.

Ai will act as autonomous agents, physical robotics, and digital partners that handle complex computation, labor, and reasoning without needing to merge with human biology.

Where do we actually end up?

Humanity rarely picks just one path.

We will likely end up on a spectrum:

1. Medical cyborgs will be the pioneers—using implants to restore sight, mobility, or memory loss.

2. Ambient cyborgs will form the vast majority—using non-invasive tools (glasses, earwear, neural bands) that seamlessly loop AI into everyday life.

3. Pure biological purists will choose to disconnect entirely, treating human-unaugmented thought as a deliberate lifestyle choice.

The question then becomes who or what Messiah will be in charge?

THE BEADY EYE SAYS. WE NOW FIND OURSELVES IN A WORLD WHERE WE KNOW HOW ALMOST EVERY THING WORKS, BUT WE KNOW THE MEANING OF NOTHING.

( Four minute read)

This hits right at the core of the modern human condition.

We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom.” — E.O. Wild

We live in an era of unprecedented mechanical and scientific clarity.

If you want to know how something happens, humanity has an answer, or is actively coding one:

Our modern world is obsessed with optimization. We ask “How do we make this faster, smoother, or more productive?” instead of “Is this worth doing?”

We confuse knowing about something with actually knowing it.

We can read the 3-billion-letter code of human DNA and literally edit it with CRISPR.

When everything is reduced to a metric or a function, things stop being sacred or deeply felt; they just become tasks to manage.

Thanks to AI and instant connectivity, raw knowledge has become a commodity.

It is practically free, infinite, and accessible to anyone with a screen.

Knowledge used to be a rare, premium currency.

The premium currency now belongs to those who can answer whether we should do it, and what it means for us.

When anyone can look up a fact, generate a functional line of code, or draft a legal contract in three seconds, simply possessing information loses its premium value.

In a world drowning in data, deep fakes, and AI-generated noise, the ability to separate truth from hallucination and signal from static is incredibly valuable.

Because knowledge is everywhere, the ability to focus deeply on one thing without getting distracted is becoming a rare, elite skill.

THE BEADY EYE ASKS WHY ARE WE ALL SO STUPID?

≈ Comments Off on THE BEADY EYE ASKS WHY ARE WE ALL SO STUPID?

The answer is and I quote from Yuval Noah Harari’s latest book, Nexus: A Brief History of Information Networks from the Stone Age to AI, explores humanity’s extraordinary voyage into the information era.

“ We are living through the most profound information revolution in human history”.

To understand it, we need to understand what has come before.

We have named our species Homo sapiens, the wise human – but if humans are so wise, why are we doing so many self-destructive things?

In particular, why are we on the verge of committing ecological and technological suicide?

Humanity gains power by building large networks of cooperation, but the easiest way to build and maintain these networks is by spreading fictions, fantasies, and mass delusions.

In the 21st century, AI may form the nexus for a new network of delusions that could prevent future generations from even attempting to expose its lies and fictions.

These are very wise words.

However, history is not deterministic, and neither is technology: by making informed choices, we can still prevent the worst outcomes. Because if we can’t change the future, then why waste time discussing it?

Why?

Unfortunately I believe that we as a species are incapable of acting for the common good of all.

Why?

Because of greed, envy and fear.

Yes we are definitely in the future going to be more and more assimilated into artificial intelligence driven machines.

However all will have to contend with the many possible contributors to our disappearance from earth! climate change, nuclear annihilation, biological warfare, ecological collapse, take your pick.

Other scenarios center on emerging technologies, such as advanced artificial intelligence, biotechnology, or self-replicating nano bots,.

Throughout human history many societal collapse have already happened.

There is of course one other event that could cause our extinction, that is the resurrection.

None of us a live today will recognise this world in fifty years from now.

Why?

Not because there is a Chronic Climate melt down on the way. Not because the world is still plagued by Endless wars.

The most disturbing thing that is happening right now is that our very existence as a species is disappearing into a digital cloud and it won’t be long before we are battling to hold no to what makes us human.

Not because CHRISTIANITY versus MUSLIMS.( Both victims of an ideology virus called RELIGION.) will be still incompatibilities.

But because the world will be controlled by Artificial Intelligence, governance.

—————————

This is the coming glaring reality of world.

While this may be the case by some definitions, there’s no escaping the fact that we, as a species, have it better than our ancestors and those that came before them ever did.

Let’s take a look at some times when staying alive was particularly difficult…

For the majority of Earth’s history, life has simply been a matter of survival.

The ‘Great Dying’ didn’t happen overnight like the extinction event that claimed the lives of the dinosaurs: instead it lasted for nearly 50,000 years and may have taken place in several distinct pulses.

The great coming Alive that is been produced by technology advances will end in digital slavery unless we ensure the values of humanity are enshrined in the birth of all robots.

( Four minute read)

His place in history will be that of the greatest ass hole to have grace the planet, with all the treats of a Psychopath.

Tell me why we don’t see riots in the streets.

Is it something that’s in the chicken that Americans eat, that is allowing DONALD TRUMP to abuse the office of the President.

Building vanity projects, costing tax payers billions, not to mention instigating wars, in order to line his and his buddies pockets.

American first is a mantra that no longer carries any truth or credibility.

When Trump opens his mouth he proves more often than not, that he is a pathological liar.

—————————-

If he is allowed to continue this story will destroy everything we know about the beauty of the world.

It’s a whole lot easier to cover your eyes but surely it is the duty of all decent Americans to remove him from office.

The meaning of life cannot be a Trump looming catastrophe disaster.

—————————-

The deep structure of society with AI never mind the current wars, (created by him and his cohorts) has the world on the slippery slope of disconstruction to such an extent that we have no idea what the world will look like in ten years, never mind in a generation.

Let me assure you it’s not a world that anyone with an ounce of intelligence wants now or in the future

It barely requires description.

For God sake is there nobody in American that recognises what is happening right in front of your eyes.

————————-

Is that the you all have, Trump derangement syndrome” (TDS)?

A paranoid obsession supposedly afflicting opponents of the president who, they claim, have lost all sense of reality.

While the psychiatric argument for this has not been proven, I can only say that it is proven every time he speaks that this “toxic state of mind”

Bombing Iran in the middle of negotiations, while starving Cuba, while genociding Palestinians, while threatening to invade Greenland… the US and Israel are the single greatest threat to humanity and it’s not even close. We are all forced to live in.

His removal would be an act of love that the people of the USA must embrace.

————————

If there is one good thing he is and continues to reveal is a world that needs to fundamentally revert to community administration, rather than remain under big government control.

This can only be achieved with a basic living wage. Giving the living of life back into individuals responsibility and community.

Culture changes when a small community finds a better way of living. Giving not taking. It’s you that decides what kinds of person you could be.

The job as it is has always been to fix the culture away from an existing to living a life.

THE BEADY EYE SAYS WE ARE SINKING INTO THE QUICK SAND OF OUR OWN MAKING.

(A long read)

To expatiate upon the miseries which war brings upon mankind appears a trite and a needless blog, to be posting.

To those who begin a war without taking an estimates of its consequences must be regarded as, at most, half—seeing politicians, or totally insane.

Why?

Because the overall concept of war is suicidal. Wars rarely do any good other than to enrich weapons manufacturers and now, the fossil fuel industry.

They are a testament to how little our thinking has evolved, that we still don’t have better ways to settle differences.

We all know that its evils are great and dreadful.

Yet the very circumstance that the knowledge is familiar may make it unoperative upon our sentiments and our conduct, and this is what happing now with wars conducted by artificial intelligence.

It has desensitised us, not just to the killing but to the intensity of misery inflicted on millions.

By the slaughter of a war, there are thousands who weep in unpitied and unnoticed secrecy, whom the world does not see; and thousands who retire, in silence, to hopeless poverty, for whom it does not care.

Beyond the immediate destruction, conflicts disrupt ecosystems, deplete natural resources, pollute the environment, and jeopardize the health of our planet for generations to come.

The frequency with which current war destruction is presented to our minds by social media 24/7 has almost extinguished our perception of its awfulness and horror.

—————

There is no such thing as defensive action. Once military forces are moved out of a country they become to established within striking distance they become part of-the war.

——————

It is not the extent of evil alone, which is necessary to animate us to that exertion which evil and misery should excite: if it were, surely we should be much more averse than we now are to contribute, in words or in actions to the promotion of war.

In referring especially to some of those moral consequences of war which commonly obtain little of our attention, it may be observed, that social and political considerations are necessarily involved in the moral tendency: for the happiness of society is always diminished by the diminution of morality; and enlightened policy knows that the greatest support of a state is the virtue of the people.

To these the meaning of destruction is of little importance.

—————-

The legitimate object of political measures is the good of the people; and a great sum of good a war must produce, if it outbalances even this portion of its mischiefs

—————

When political writers expatiate upon the extent and the evils of taxation, they do not sufficiently bear in mind the reflection that almost all our taxation is the effect of war.

Anger at offence or hope of triumph overpowers the sober calculations of reason, and outbalances the weight of after and long-continued calamities.

The only question appears to be, whether taxes enough for a war can be raised, and whether a people will be willing to pay them.

—————-

But the great question ought to be (setting questions of Religion aside), whether the nation will gain as much by the war as they will lose by taxation and its other calamities.

————

What we are presently witnessing is pure madness, insane.

Not only do wars prevent us from resolving serious, survival-threatening emergencies such as climate change and biodiversity loss — by sucking up money and resources and prioritizing destruction over problem-solving — they also contribute greatly to those problems.

Millions of people in the Middle East, Ukraine and around the world are being killed, maimed, orphaned, displaced and starved as a result of war and climate change.

Imagine what we could accomplish if all the resources used to kill and destroy went into solving the existential threats we’ve created.

Humans spend enormous amounts of money, consume massive resources, develop jaw-dropping technologies, destroy infrastructure and natural areas and kill millions of people, including many non-combatants, often just to stroke the egos of petty power-seeking men.

Our killing technologies may have advanced tremendously, but our mindsets haven’t evolved much from 3,000 years ago when Homer wrote his epic story The Lloyd, about a bloody battle over perceived loss of “honour” when Paris, prince of Troy, absconded with Spartan king Menelaus’s wife Helen.

Wars have since become far costlier, in lives, resources and money, but their justifications seem no less absurd.

We often hear how expensive it is to address the climate change and biodiversity loss crises, but it’s a pittance compared to spending on weapons and destruction — and addressing environmental crises is necessary and offers numerous benefits.

Wars rarely do any good other than to enrich weapons manufacturers and, now, the fossil fuel industry.

From climate change to current wars we are destroying our lives.

——————

In 2023 alone, over 170 armed conflicts were recorded.

By the end of the year, nearly 120 million people worldwide were forcibly displaced due to persecution, conflict, violence, human rights violations.

Environmental damage brings devastating consequences for natural resources, critical ecosystems, and people’s health, livelihoods, and security.

When forests are cleared for military purposes, fertile lands and vital water resources can become contaminated.

Armed conflicts use large quantities of munitions containing heavy metals and depleted uranium, and explosive chemicals, all toxic even in modest quantities, with devastating impacts on human health and the environment.

Let’s see why this started.

The US gets attacked on 9/11 and asks NATO for help.

Fast forward 25 years.

Trump threatens to invade NATO ally, Greenland, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Then Carney gives a speech critical of the US, and Trump said Canada isn’t grateful to the US.

Then Trump said that in Afghanistan,NATO allies just sat back in the weeds while the US did the heavy fighting.

Can you imagine how that makes the families of those who died protecting the US, feel?

Clearly the US, or at least Trump wasn’t grateful for the help.

Here are some numbers, on deaths in Afghanistan. The total included nearly 2,480 Americans; 457 British; 158 Canadians; 90 French; 60 Germans; and 44 Danes, the most per capita.

The US lost one soldier for every 137,000 civilians.,

Denmark lost one soldier for every 136,000 civilians.

Looking back with respect for all of these young lives lost not to mention the lives lost in other wars had the world got to be a better place. Far from it.

We don’t have a money problem when it comes to war or for that matter any other thing you might think of. We have a profound value problem with the Capitalist I am all right Jack syndrome.

All this needless suffering and death is choice.

We got to stop pretending that the people who are responsible and causing all of this are competent people.

They are not representing the people that elected them because nothing works for ordinary people.

With these wars spreading into a global nightmare we’re now in a very dangerous place.

We all know that language matters in any situation, even more so when dealing with sensitive topics, in order to establish a renewed spirit of cooperation.

Lesson one.

With the endless pursuit of wealth, Capitalism ‘inevitably’ caused wars.

Lesson two.

There is a price to payed.

Lesson three.

Insider trading is rampant.

Lesson four.

Who wants to live in a world where power outages ripple through hospitals, vital equipment falls silent.

Intensive care units are left in the dark, and dialysis patients, premature infants, and the critically ill, are left fighting for survival without the most basic support.

With every single person on a ventilator in hospital dying overnight.

The only way to deter US aggression is to acquire nuclear weapons.

———————-

This is not just a war it’s also a war of disinformation.

A digital disception resulting in most of what we are seeing, hearing is out of context and inaccurate, and untrue.

It appears that we don’t want to know the truth. But as AI generated content covering this war turns it into Lego images it is scary as to where it’s all going.

—————-

Let me suggest the following Scenario that begs a critical question:

This war will determine what’s will it mean to be an American when they are dying in defence of a currency/oil not a country.

If you remember America blamed the Covid outbreak on the Chinese.

With 90% of them are manufactured in Taiwan, ( according to Trump if the Chinese takes Taiwan it will result in them owning the USA.)

So this is a race to dominate the technology of manufacturing chips.

Unlimited power without accountability turns people into monsters.

——————

The combination of the smart phone and social media is (despite what the rich may want to believe ) is tearing our world and our lives apart turning us into products.

Ai is gaming fining every aspect of our lives with us becoming the tool of our devices.

We have to radically reshape our structures of power so that those in positions of power are held accountable.

The tragically resulted of this war is that no one can do anything about it or the effects it will have on the future.,

The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of values worth, while the inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.

——————-

The dangerous impulsiveness and disregard for international law on the part of the American president are forcing governments to rethink their alliances.

The people of Iran did not ask anyone to liberate them…

The truth is never one sided in war or any other truth.

This war even if it ends tomorrow it will have long term consequences. The damage is permanent. Ai is relying on energy.
