The drift toward authoritarianism rarely announces itself with a bang; it begins long before the public recognizes the danger.

It begins with language: the slow, deliberate reclassification of fellow citizens as lesser, suspect, or dangerous.

Once a government convinces people that some among them are unworthy of rights or empathy, the rest becomes frighteningly easy.

Authoritarian systems rarely begin with mass repression. They begin by redefining who counts as a threat.

In any situation, friction can never be eliminated, one can only increase or decrease the friction between two surfaces, or situations.

Friction does not depend on the area of contact, but in a world without friction it would quickly become a homogenous blob of elemental particles.

However in this post I am not talking about friction in its physical state, but friction between humans in the coming world of technology algorithms.

When earth is viewed from space there are no countries, we have carved them out of ideologies and blood.

The understanding of the human condition has been a mystery for millions of years. However if we started promoting understanding of environmental sustainability, empathy, and conflict resolution through education, we can cultivate a culture of peace from a young age and change direction to a caring world.

This has been true up now.

To day we have decisions been taken and made by machines, with no human understanding. So it’s essential that we have transparency if society is to be ruled by technology.

Humans Should Be in Control:

Algorithms should be tools that assist humans, not replace them entirely.

Futurists have long debated the arrival of the singularity, when human and artificial intelligence will merge.

Some form of merger is inevitable and it is taking place right now.

Of course, this “Brave New World” of a hybrid AI-human existence brings with it a plethora of issues both political and personal.

What will humans do for jobs? Could we possibly live forever? Would that change the very idea of what it means to be human?

As long as we have countries it is inevitable that we will have friction. This is why the world needs a strong United Nations.

Authoritarian systems rarely begin with mass repression. They begin by redefining who counts as a threat. And that is precisely what we are witnessing now.

When administrations label their critics as victims of “evil,” “radicalized,” or part of a “terrorist network,” it is not engaging in politics.

It is engaging in dehumanization.

History shows that once a government normalizes this language, the slide accelerates.

The state becomes both narrator and arbiter of reality. Citizens become suspects. Violence becomes self‑defense. Democracy becomes optional.

The danger we face is not only the violence we see in the world.

It is the narrative that follows:  That is the moment when democracies falter. It is the moment when the government stops speaking about its citizens as citizens.

Or we can recognize what history makes plain: once a government convinces the public that some people are enemies, it rarely stops there.

It’s time that the super wealthy were exposed. Thankfully Mr Donald Trump is doing just that.

Life is all around us. In most cases it has evolved and is still evolving, but are we coming to the end of its evolutionary ability with AGI.

Life I suppose is that which we choose to give it.

According to Wikipedia :

“ The  meaning of life is the concept of an individual’s life’s human life, or existences in general having an inherent significance or a philosophical point.”

“There is no consensus on the specifics of such a concept, or whether the concept itself even exists in any objective sense.”

It’s not a mood or an achievement, but a way of seeing reality clearly and still saying yes to life.

With the arrival of the internet / social media/ profit seeking Algorithms/ and the forthcoming AGI it’s becoming boring because joy is less about ease and more about connection, openness, and love.

We are already trading the complex diversity of human thought for an ultra-processed linguistic diet.

The traditional advice to “trust your eyes and ears” has become dangerously obsolete, as has our tendency toward “seeing is believing.”

But can Hybrid intelligence, marry human intuition with AI’s analytical rigor, can amplify human potential.

As we move toward a hybrid future, the intimate relationship between natural intelligence and artificial intelligence  (AI) is becoming essential to our identity.

We’ve entered an era of hybrid intelligence where the line between our words and the algorithms that suggest them blurs.

The loss of linguistic diversity may be the first warning sign of deeper issues ahead.

Consider what happens when an AI knows you’re most susceptible to emotional appeals late at night, understands exactly which conspiracy theories align with your existing anxieties, and can deploy that knowledge with perfect timing.

Language is more than a communication tool; it’s the scaffolding of thought. 

We are in the midst of a rupture of life on Earth with not just AI but climate change and the ignorance of a United States president named Donald Dump tearing what left of world order, it’s time we stood up and be counted.

It would be fair to say that we are now on borrowed time to do anything about the direction of life is going.

How we answer this is as it always has been will determine our lives.

Unfortunately with AI we are no longer sure what the right choice is.

My personal opinion is that I am applaud by the lack of attention our governments are paying to the problems that AI is creating, which is and will be on a vast scale.

If we don’t now enshrine human values into a future with AGI it will create its own values.

We readily embrace the promise of effortless efficiency.

But are we trading the complex diversity of human thought for eco chambers.

In work and life environments where AI is increasingly pervasive, our brains consume linguistic fast food—sweet and easy to swallow, but lacking the complex nutrients of local dialect, spicy slang, and idiosyncratic quirks.

Are we heading toward a future where vocabularies become uniform, mirroring how American fast food exported a simplified flavor palette worldwide?

The implications extend beyond language.

Beyond concerns about linguistic marginalization, we should worry about the homogenization of certain values and mindsets. 

Consider how AI handles conflict resolution.

JAI productivity tools assume time is linear, scarce, and must be optimized, a distinctly Western industrial framework.

Even concepts of time reflect cultural bias.

To prevent mental fast-foodization, we must practice active cognitive resistance, which starts with double literacy: using AI for efficiency while maintaining the natural intelligence to judge, critique, and override it.

Accept AI as part of our cognitive ecosystem, but don’t accept its outputs as truth or finality. 

These same technologies are learning to exploit the very cognitive shortcuts that helped our ancestors survive, shortcuts that now make us vulnerable to manipulation at a unprecedented scale.

Live your life don’t let it be sold as a product for profit.

Our mind is our biggest friend and enemy when it comes to the hybrid future.

AI can deceive us, but only if we adopt an attitude of chosen blindness will it succeed.

Social media platforms exploit these tendencies brilliantly, offering instant dopamine  hits from likes and shares, training us to crave quick emotional rewards rather than slower, more demanding forms of understanding.

Then time has come to open our eyes and look at what we’d rather not see.

Since the arrival of the internet, social media, algorithms not to mention climate change, our world has been desensitising to what really matters.

Our governments give billions to wars, and the millions airs of the world line their pockets shafting the underdogs with algorithms.

The US has carried out – or been a partner to – 622 overseas bombings in all, using drones or aircraft, since January 20, 2025, when Trump took office.

Russia is engaged in an aggressive campaign of subversion and sabotage against European and U.S. targets, which complement Russia’s brutal conventional war in Ukraine. 

Actions below the threshold of conventional warfare have long been an important component of statecraft.

Such as gray zone activity, political warfare, asymmetric conflict, unconventional warfare, and low-intensity conflict.

These types of activities involve using tools of statecraft below the threshold of conventional warfare to shift the balance of power in their favor.

Examples include:

  • Information and influence operations, including psychological operations and propaganda.
  • Offensive cyber operations and electronic warfare.
  • Support to state and non-state partners, such as guerrillas and proxy forces.
  • Covert and clandestine actions by intelligence and special operations forces, including sabotage and subversion.
  • Economic coercion.

We need to wrap our heads around what is happening as this is another Titanic waiting to happen.

We are not data. This is the reason why we are seeing anxiety, disconnection, and confusion rising across every age group?

According to Yuval Noah Harari, “this won’t be just another year of rapid technological progress — it could be the moment our minds begin to strain under changes we can no longer fully process.

A predictable future.

Because we are slowly losing the three psychological pillars that sustained human stability for thousands of years.,

A sense of personal agency.

Coherent life stories that give meaning to our choices .

As AI reshapes identity, algorithms quietly influence behavior, and the traditional sources of meaning — religion, nation, shared truth — begin to fragment, many people won’t even realize what’s happening to them… until the effects become impossible to ignore.”

His assessment is bleak and that’s without addressing climate change.

It begs the question have we all gone senile.

Perhaps it’s time the international court issued some more arrests warrant.

To date these individuals include former President of Sudan Omar Al-Bashir, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, and Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.

Perhaps it’s time that the Donald Trumps of this world should be added.

He is happily lining his pockets with anti climate change actions, starting a war with Venezuela, supporting Mr Netanyahu, and tearing what’s left of Democracy apart.

And why is Bashar al-Assad who gassed his own people not on the wanted list.

Have we all gone insane?

We are allowed algorithms to run our lives.

We know they’re shaping outcomes all around us. But most of us have no idea what they are — or how we’re being influenced by them.

You’re memories and remembering them over and over in your head are all you have and if you lose that there’s nothing left to stay alive for.

Get out there and experience the world you in and on.

Artificial intelligence must work for all of us not just the rich. You have to be a special kind of dumb to think that

If our information apparatus were designed to prioritize what is actually important rather than what generates the most controversy, there would be a lot more coverage and discussion about AI and a lot less about the latest culture war outrage.

But it’s not and so, people have no idea what’s about to hit them. They don’t even realize that humans may no longer exist in several years. My only advice to anyone reading this is to make the most of the remaining time we have left before shit hits the fan. It won’t last.

Why is this happening?

Because the more often a stupidity is repeated, the more it gets the appearance of wisdom.

When we look at our achievements as a species, intelligence is at the height of progress, but history isn’t just full of brilliance.

Its chock-full of failures caused by blind faith, poor decisions, and the inability to recognize mistakes.

In one word: Stupidity.

The more power someone has, the more likely they are to think less critically while surrounding themselves with yes-people who won’t challenge them.

This leads to an organization full of blind arrogance and poor decisions.

The Donald Trumps of the world that are in power are also inclined to weaponise stupidity, using propaganda, misinformation, and emotional rhetoric to keep people from questioning them.

A cycle where the powerful become dumber, and the masses become more obedient.

Let’s make 2026 the beginning where we stop using profit seeking algorithms, reject social media falsehoods and pressure the advertisers industry to be more transparent and environmental supportive.

100 billion people have lived and died in a world that did not know TV, Cars, electricity.

No 24 hour news cycle. No TikTok or QAnon.

A world where Cameras weren’t omnipresent, and where you could basically start a new life anywhere, anytime.

Today it’s easy to survive but hard to live.

However over the years, we got complacent, so…accustomed to living with the Internet that it’s lost that meaning. It’s no longer something to marvel at, and it’s insane that it’s become so ingrained in our society.

It is scary to think about how just 15 years ago, the world was a HUGELY different place.

Everything that has a beginning, has an end, including you.

Experiences and imagination make up a living experience.

It’s wild how much life there is waiting for you.

Life is not found on smartphones or the internet.

Start living in the reality instead of living in a fake social media world.

Looking at a screen is not life.

Social media is the taking human distrust to another dimension.

You can’t live to morrow or relive yesterday, you can only live the present moment

It’s in your brain and it depends on the accident of birth as to whether the brain has been educated in an environment of kindness or hate.

Here are the most rewarding things to do with your life.

Be proud of yourself.

Give more than you take.

Visit someone who is lonely or hospitalised.

Read to broaden you mind. Travel to open it up.

Smile ( and the whole world will smile with you)

A genuine handshake or hug never goes astray.

Racism has no place.

Neither a lender or borrower be.

Stay away from hard drugs

Acquired an appreciation of art- music- and a second language.

Conquer Alcohol.

Remember that sudden prayers makes God fart.

It’s easier to be kind than cruel.

Take heed of your health. No matter how high one goes in society a shit a day keeps the doctor away. Here to day gone to morrow.

Materialism will not bring happiness.

Social media algorithms are creating a digital phenomenon that regresses brain activity and literally “feeding” 80 % crap to us.

One has only to look at SHORTs on. U TUBE. Look at one and the Algorithm serves up more crap. As a result people are becoming more misinformed, superstitious, and tribalistic every day.

On top of this we are living in a world of enquiries.

Enquires into food contamination, into killings, information leaks, etc, costing billions, producing recommendations that pay lip service to their finds, never implemented.

The present leaders of the three largest world powers have little respect for the results of these enquiries viewing them with little regard, other than stating that lessons will be learned in order to ensure it never happens again.

As a product you have no rights, an often-overlooked trade-offs of using these ostensibly free services.

The worry is how the app is going to be perceived, instead of how it’s going to be used.

If you talk more about how it looks, than how it’s used, it’s not really a product. It’s probably just an app. A product needs user validation before, to make sure it’s worth building.

With more and more companies using technology to peddle their products it is becoming a racket with no customer service.

For example try sending a parcel by post.

There was a day one would fill in a custom and excise form buy the stamps.

Now it’s an online nightmare with a bill that is outrageous follow by a week of information as to where your parcel is.

One of the biggest rip off scams in the world you couldn’t wonder where it’s all going to end up.

From ELON MUSK salary of one trillion and DONALD DUMPs deprived mind and profit seeking Algorithms- CLIMATE CHANGE inequality is growing faster then you can give consent on the internet net you would have to conclude that we have all lost the plot.

They don’t improve people’s lives.

This myth of progress is driven by algorithms that seek profit regardless of the damage they are inflicting on all of us.

The reality is the world is in crisis and our lives have been turned into data for platforms that don’t give a fuck whether we believe them or not.

We now have a wanker as president of the USA, weaponising the American economy by throwing hand grenades on social media called exc orders into the world marketplace.

You could say we on the threshold of the world sacrificing thousand of years of history to AI that has no moral or ethical values.

Despair is the only way to describe our collective actions to combat legal scams.

Just look at FIFA and the World Cup tickets a scam on a global level. Buy a outrageous price ticket months in advance.

Look at Banks fees.

Looks at the mark percentage up in the retail market.

Look at student loans.

Look at the price of energy.

Look at Air line baggage fees.

Look at mortgages.

Look at the cost of a furnel.

Look at the price of ink cartridges.

Look at tolls roads.

Look at parking.

Look at bottle water

There are serious problems coming not just in the financial world but in the environment that we all rely on.

Most of us spend 50% of our income on mortgage repayments living pay cheque to pay cheque with no savings to cover any emergency.

We in a negative spiral that going to effect everything.

Banks are now sitting on huge commercial debt on property that are now worth 40% less than when the loans were granted, because of working from home so rental income is collapsing.

With Donald Trump they are going to be global shock that will be felt in the global markets.

It doesn’t require anything dramatic to see the collapse of economies like the Uk that shot itself in the purse by leaving the single EU market.

All of this ( like the climate change is accelerating at a pace to a tipping point.)

When everything indicates stress you can rest assured that there is something that like a dam will burst.

We have 10 million people with acute bronchitis.

We have politics of petty point-scoring.

We have corporations ripping us off left right and centre.

We have our media channels serving us 80% rubbish.

We have artificial Intelligence turning us in products.

We have the beauty of nature being destroyed.

We have feelings of being overwhelmed.

We have a clash with our organic origins and AI.

We have financial dysfunction.

We have a point in our history where people stop talking and start kill instead.

We have click bait destroying critical thinking.

We have Algorithms platform using us as ginny-pigs.

We have bots not humans responding to our human questions.

We have an Earth quake in Democracy.

We have written constitution that are dead.

We have human thresholds/ values that now are subject of enquiry.

We have global order collapsing in front of our eyes.

We have rampant racism.

We have now a crisis of trust.

We have AI agents with corporation legal rights.

We have a huge challenge to monitor technology immigration.

We have social media full of false hoods.

We have no more time before we are toast.
