This is and has always been a fantasy, even with Artificial Intelligence it will remain so.

Why?

Because truth is always believed by fallible humans and Ai no matter what form it takes will never be sentient to become infallible. The world will be gone apeshit long before that will happen.

However caution had been throw to the wind when it comes to AI. All that is now need is infinite more computing power and infinite more data and hold and below we have a self learning Algorithm that will be Pope.

This is where we become unhinged.

As we are all taking the AI advancements for granted why not take this fantastic fantasise at face value.

Because when a rapid downfall in the use of Artificial Intelligence starts to bit the profit of profit seeking algorithms, governments and us will begin to see the environmental disaster ( that predictive algorithms economic manipulation is doing for short term gain)

Nothing grows exponentially for ever.

The planet cannot be paved with datacenter.

It’s now or never we take back control and stuff all unsustainable Ai back in its box.

The big problem will be who or what owns these realities.

You might think that this is another idiotic question but with self learning algorithms can anyone or thing claim to own intersubjective data.

It’s not possible to classify this kind of data other than top secret as it trespasses into other data.

The whole point of data is that it is constantly changing.

If the data is created by the algorithm, another words did not exist till it was extracted by the algorithm who owns it man or machine.

One way or the other it won’t matter as the gap between rulers and the ruled will become more blurred.

We’re talking here of data becoming a virus

Power will come from being able to manipulate this data, which will change the balance of power in the world.

Up to now biological understanding has been essential to understanding the world around us.

Just imagine the fear that impure data is mingling with synthetic data could do to a country like India with a barbarous cast system already in place.

The unfathomable contradictions of untraceable data being interpreted by algorithms is mind boggling.

Unfortunately Algorithms are already ruling a great portion of our lives.

If we humans don’t get a grip on accountability, transparency, of artificial intelligence we can kiss our already difficult lives goodbye.

There is no doubt that countries are going to have to increase defence spending.

It is pathetic that we live in a world that spends more on arms to kill each other than on getting to know each other.

The West Bank in Gaza can kiss itself goodbye along with any two state solution to the conflict.

The UKRAINE can also kiss the loss of substantial territories, and god forbid welcome in return a civil war that will eventually put Russia in total control and face on to NATO.

The expansion of NATO is the real reason that Putin invaded the Ukraine.

This is going to be a grumpy four years with Trump promises in charge of Elon Musk nightmares.

A tweet here and a tweet there could change history.

The worst thing that might happen is that he like many a president before him claims Irish heritage when in fact he is of German and Scottish blood.

Treating wars and natural disasters as entertainment, promoting growth and unsustainable consumption above any worthy while common values. Becoming morally hypocritical with AI knowledge.

Because.

Rationality is going out the window for the sake of shot term pleasure’s detaching us from reality.

Any one can become an Internet troll.

Because.

If we are unwilling to invest in a future, it is no wonder our world is in such a mess.

Because.

Psychopathic traits make for Popular leaders with bloated and boundless egos.

Because

We fail to understand the basic laws of nature resulting in an endemic of bad effects.

Because.

Climate change has the potential to cause deviations and millions of deaths but we remain unable to act together even though we are facing such a stark prospect.

To find a way to make millions of us to cooperate is a science still in the making.

To inspire people to make a common sacrifices for a common cause requires fictional stories rather than the truth,.

If we want to battle climate change it has to take precedence in all activities and this can only be achieved by bribing the great unwashed into changing how it conducts itself.

With 3200 km of coastline AUKLAND is a city which like all major cities has its ins and outs and its ups and downs.

With thousands and thousands of avenues, streets, dead ends, health centres, shopping malls, jogging tracks, expensive children play grounds and retirement villages, it is surrounded by extinct volcanoes.

Apart from its land mark post office tower and Bridge, it is a city of cheek to cheek wooden movable housing costing millions depending on their sea views.

Known as Tamaki- Makau- Rau its Maori name.

It’s a cosmopolitan expensive city of around 2 million people, compared to London 8 million it has one of the highest density of 2,500 people per square kilometre, comprising of Indians, Chinese, British, Singapores, Tongans, and the odd Maori, with the largest ethnic Polynesian population in the world.

With one way in and one way out its is evacuated on weekends to bashes ( holiday homes) by most of its residents.

Aukland suffered from traffic jams, traffic lights, and traffic cones to beat the ban.

Herne bay would give the average person a hernia with the average property costing over 3 million NZ$ full of wealth Jafa New Zealanders.

Acacia cottage is its oldest building 1841. However Kemp house 1822 a mission house is the winner. Parnell is its oldest suburb and perhaps its most expensive. South street is its oldest. Gilchrist its oldest shop.

Hay Bro who would if you had a choice live in North Island when South Island is a showcases of nature might.

Up to now reality came in two forms.

OBJECTIVE REALITY & SUBJECTIVE REALITY.

But now we are seeing another Virtual Realty in the form of the metaverse.

A place where people can interact with each other and with digital objects in a way that simulates reality.

Within 3d immersive environments real takes a holiday, replaced by visual experiences that will eventually be accompanied by sensory experiences.

However inter subjective things exist in the exchange of information within this world.

The metaverse will eventually be able to remember one user from another.

Providing information to its platform to ensure consistency where physical human and digital reality’s will co exist.

Another words we will have two relationships with reality. A walled garden realm and a wild garden or a fusion of both.

This will be governed by the extent that the user can move around in the real world without using the metaverse which will be determined by the connectivity of the platform.

It might never be deemed safe to immerse oneself totally in the metaverse.

However one thing is clear the metaverse is here regardless of how it evolves it is going to change the way information is infused into reality.

Humans have an amazing ability to interpret everything from text to videos.

It’s time to get prepared as Ai in the form of algorithms will interpret information personalising it more and more, creating new entities and a entirely new level of reality,

If enough people agree that a particular state of reality exists then it does.

It then can do things that create inter subjective realities which are powerfully only within that state and not outside of it.

What I am trying to say is that a picture/video is worth a thousand words in deciphering information.

But the up and coming generation is however converting the messages of the metaverse gaming world into reality, without understanding the real underlying realities of the pictures being explained.

Violence, sexual abuse assaults, and other experiences are not comparable to reality in physical real life.

So where are we with the metaverse?

Its use in Education will be far reaching with virtually tours of almost anything or anywhere.

Its application in advertising, retail sales, housing, city development, infrastructure, all architectural projects, etc is in it’s infancy.

The global market for the metaverse is projected to reach 800 billions by the end of this decade.

App developers in medical industries will be using the metaverse to enhance their usage away beyond the hospital bed.

The film industry will be redefined through its creative abilities.

Facebook changing its name to Meta is a clear indication of where social media is going.

Only time will tell if the experiences of the metaverse will destroy whats left of reality.

Every America can be proud of electing a man who any where else in the world would be doing time not in the White House but in a jail house.

Ai is the first technology that is more efficient than all the collective instruments, institutions, corporations so far invented by humans.

However its main objectives is us.

While we reside in our twenty century caves call houses, apartments, algorithms exam our every day existence and addictions to our smartphones on behalf of their overlords.

Engagement is however not the model. As we will be less and less involved in making decisions.

With our caves converting more and more to automatic functions at speed to maximise profits.

In the mean time the planet is in a state of crisis not only to provide the necessary materials and energy to sustain itself never mind ourselves or AI which is slowly killing real activism, and replacing it with slacktivsm – with smartphones opting – out of actually committing time or money.

Where are we?

It is having a profound effect on all that surrounds us.

Social Media has already transformed the way we communicate, share information and consume media its self.

It’s all about attention seeking.

It had shifted the balance of power from the hands of the masses to the hands of the few.

On the threshold of a war,

Popular v. Democracy.

The future is not yet determined by Ai

We have to decide what we want before it’s too late.

Yuval Noah Harari book Nexus says that history is not deterministic and the future will be shaped by the choices we make in the coming years.

He says and I quote “ if we cannot change the future why waste time talking about it”

Unfortunately we respond to these dangers with the same brains as our Ancestors had some 60,000 to 80,000 years ago.

( He rightly pointed out who will we know that we are talking to a human. Place an x on a serious of photos not on your Nelly.

There will be no way to know. )

Unlike us with our I am all right Jack society they had a vested interest in each other. Peace without Victory.

Strong societies or weak

The fact that we have bot pits of rewards to engage the more extreme the more consuming the content becomes the bigger the rewards and that is what we are presently being fed by Algorithms.

What do we get in return for engagement?

Nothing.

Except democracy hacked for profit.

So here is my advice:

Really is you not some Algorithm that is trying to hack you.

Imagination is information that has be checked to become information.

So it follows that there is no such thing as information, there is only reality which is this very present moment in time, becoming fact when observed more than once by independent observation.

Life is a series of positions that fluctuate with time.

Most information including technology information has nothing to do with reality.

As we have found out in quantum mathematics is that it can be in two places at once depending on who or how it is observed.

We all have different perspective on the world. Here to day gone to morrow.

It is nothing but information.

As Yuval Noah Harari book Nexus states and I quote “ No account of reality is 100% accurate, but some accounts are nevertheless more truthful than others “

The question is will we adapt to Ai or will it be the other way around.

We need sleep it does not.

The world as you know it is over. It’s not about to happen it has already happened.

Remember that corporations in the USA already have legal rights.

One year remaining to ensure that our rights are respects as humans not as Ai pets.

We already have decisions being made by Ai that could replace the richest person with an Ai controlled company.

Information comes in many forms verbal written, visual, however in the end it is finite, so information platforms will have to create synthetic information which will never be understood by humans.

It is now or never as a species.

We protect ourselves by passing a universal law that all AI must abide a self destructive mode if they threaten any of the values of humanity.

How can this be achieved?

Can this be achievable?

My answer is no.

We are unable and unwilling to change our Capitalist beliefs of growth at all costs.

Combine with power no matter the results there will be a massive difference in living a life and a life being lived by algorithms influencers.

To day there is a human in the loop to keep Ai drones from deciphering information to make its own kill decisions. To morrow there won’t be any minimal human input will be the norm.

If one looks at life and death you would think that by now they would be both well defined.

They are not and for that matter neither is the conception of ageing well defined.

What it means to be human no longer abides in a tombstone or headstone or an earn, as our digital footprint resides in the cloud.

However we are evolutionary stuck when it comes to battle old age. That is not to say that immortality could not be achieved if we were to evolve into non biological creatures.

Death would then not be looked upon as final, but as a passing into some other state, with all the ethical complications of a future without religious beliefs.

No one lives life with a predetermined individual life span of time, which is given to him or her by a god or some other biological right.

However it pays to be big rather than small like a may fly.

Brain dead doesn’t define death either as you could be in a coma for years and come back.

Once apoun a time if you did not have a pulse you were dead , now you can be restore with an electric shock – CPR.

Every biological process that goes on in our bodies is ageing at different speeds with ageing an accumulation of damage cells over time, however most of our organs are still alive when we die.

We can donate them to be transplanted.

Life span is now how long can one possible live. Life expectancy is how long you might live if you don’t have an early death due to an outside cause, such as coat suffocation, car crash, bullet, disaster or sickness or suicidal tendencies.

When you look in a mirror one can see ageing but we only notice it when things start breaking down.

Our living cells start to malfunction, but death is not programmable as aging is going on in every sector of the living body all connected to one another at different speeds. We are made up of trillions of cells, that are dying all the time which we are unaware of.

Honestly we are living longer now than back in Victorian days. More of us can expect to get through earl living due to vaccines, antibiotics, etc to reach 60 odd years.

We are also are able to treat many diseases and cure many illnesses such as cancer, or heart failures. That said evolution only care about reproduction, it doesn’t have some ageing agenda.

So the question becomes is death necessary?

We don’t necessarily die so others can live.

Bacteria is immortal.

Our digital footprints will exist for eternity.

The rest of life also has widespread lifespans but as yet it’s not possible to fit into another life span like a Yardsgumba which is half plant and insect.
