( Five minute read)

In the future there will be two types species.

One organic and one not.

Both living in a common universe under an umbrella of laws that are totally separate.

Yes!

None of us reading this will be around when this comes to fruition, but the consequences are already visible in as much, ( thanks to Capitalism ) we now live an existence rather than a life.

——————

The thing that defines us as humans is our belonging to the human species not any other form of life.

Self awareness and individuality, the thing we call “consciousness” is the binary element to all of us up to the present day.

However it’s hard to tell if other animals are self aware, since we can’t really communicate with them, never mind an AI agent.

So the question is.

Do you think humanity is defined by knowledge, compassion, strength, or something else?

We no longer run from predators or climb trees.

Instead, we sit for hours with our eyes glued to screens. Technology already does much of our thinking for us.

With calculators, GPS, and artificial intelligence, our brains are less challenged than in prehistoric times.

In short:

What defines us as human?

Language is at the very heart of what defines us as humans.

As we blend the best traits from nature fusing with machines, this will no longer be true, because we will not rely on natural evolution at all. Instead, we may merge with technology to become “Transhumanic , part human, part machine.

Our consciousness could be uploaded into a digital form, allowing us to live indefinitely inside a computer or a robotic body.

This future what ever you want to call it would be built to survive both the technological and environmental challenges of the next millennium and have the capacity to adapt as the world changes in unpredictable ways.

One way or the other.,

We had better start adapting our existing, systems (on all levels) to survive.

Because intelligent will not belong only to humans.

What we are seeing to day is only a preview of what’s coming.

This change is no longer optional because we are already living inside Artificial Intelligence, and the rules are already different, tearing norms apart with decisions influenced by data, not motivated by morality but by profit.

Data centres are using more energy than large city’s. In Ireland they are consuming 20.% of the energy produced by the country.

If we eventually produce AI robots what is the point. There is no reason that any Robot would want to make the world a better place to live in or on.

As with out the ability to feel any emotion why bother.

Is this the world we want?

THE BEADY EYE SAYS WE ARE SINKING INTO THE QUICK SAND OF OUR OWN MAKING.

(A long read)

To expatiate upon the miseries which war brings upon mankind appears a trite and a needless blog, to be posting.

To those who begin a war without taking an estimates of its consequences must be regarded as, at most, half—seeing politicians, or totally insane.

Why?

Because the overall concept of war is suicidal. Wars rarely do any good other than to enrich weapons manufacturers and now, the fossil fuel industry.

They are a testament to how little our thinking has evolved, that we still don’t have better ways to settle differences.

We all know that its evils are great and dreadful.

Yet the very circumstance that the knowledge is familiar may make it unoperative upon our sentiments and our conduct, and this is what happing now with wars conducted by artificial intelligence.

It has desensitised us, not just to the killing but to the intensity of misery inflicted on millions.

By the slaughter of a war, there are thousands who weep in unpitied and unnoticed secrecy, whom the world does not see; and thousands who retire, in silence, to hopeless poverty, for whom it does not care.

Beyond the immediate destruction, conflicts disrupt ecosystems, deplete natural resources, pollute the environment, and jeopardize the health of our planet for generations to come.

The frequency with which current war destruction is presented to our minds by social media 24/7 has almost extinguished our perception of its awfulness and horror.

—————

There is no such thing as defensive action. Once military forces are moved out of a country they become to established within striking distance they become part of-the war.

——————

It is not the extent of evil alone, which is necessary to animate us to that exertion which evil and misery should excite: if it were, surely we should be much more averse than we now are to contribute, in words or in actions to the promotion of war.

In referring especially to some of those moral consequences of war which commonly obtain little of our attention, it may be observed, that social and political considerations are necessarily involved in the moral tendency: for the happiness of society is always diminished by the diminution of morality; and enlightened policy knows that the greatest support of a state is the virtue of the people.

To these the meaning of destruction is of little importance.

—————-

The legitimate object of political measures is the good of the people; and a great sum of good a war must produce, if it outbalances even this portion of its mischiefs

—————

When political writers expatiate upon the extent and the evils of taxation, they do not sufficiently bear in mind the reflection that almost all our taxation is the effect of war.

Anger at offence or hope of triumph overpowers the sober calculations of reason, and outbalances the weight of after and long-continued calamities.

The only question appears to be, whether taxes enough for a war can be raised, and whether a people will be willing to pay them.

—————-

But the great question ought to be (setting questions of Religion aside), whether the nation will gain as much by the war as they will lose by taxation and its other calamities.

————

What we are presently witnessing is pure madness, insane.

Not only do wars prevent us from resolving serious, survival-threatening emergencies such as climate change and biodiversity loss — by sucking up money and resources and prioritizing destruction over problem-solving — they also contribute greatly to those problems.

Millions of people in the Middle East, Ukraine and around the world are being killed, maimed, orphaned, displaced and starved as a result of war and climate change.

Imagine what we could accomplish if all the resources used to kill and destroy went into solving the existential threats we’ve created.

Humans spend enormous amounts of money, consume massive resources, develop jaw-dropping technologies, destroy infrastructure and natural areas and kill millions of people, including many non-combatants, often just to stroke the egos of petty power-seeking men.

Our killing technologies may have advanced tremendously, but our mindsets haven’t evolved much from 3,000 years ago when Homer wrote his epic story The Lloyd, about a bloody battle over perceived loss of “honour” when Paris, prince of Troy, absconded with Spartan king Menelaus’s wife Helen.

Wars have since become far costlier, in lives, resources and money, but their justifications seem no less absurd.

We often hear how expensive it is to address the climate change and biodiversity loss crises, but it’s a pittance compared to spending on weapons and destruction — and addressing environmental crises is necessary and offers numerous benefits.

Wars rarely do any good other than to enrich weapons manufacturers and, now, the fossil fuel industry.

From climate change to current wars we are destroying our lives.

——————

In 2023 alone, over 170 armed conflicts were recorded.

By the end of the year, nearly 120 million people worldwide were forcibly displaced due to persecution, conflict, violence, human rights violations.

Environmental damage brings devastating consequences for natural resources, critical ecosystems, and people’s health, livelihoods, and security.

When forests are cleared for military purposes, fertile lands and vital water resources can become contaminated.

Armed conflicts use large quantities of munitions containing heavy metals and depleted uranium, and explosive chemicals, all toxic even in modest quantities, with devastating impacts on human health and the environment.

Let’s see why this started.

The US gets attacked on 9/11 and asks NATO for help.

Fast forward 25 years.

Trump threatens to invade NATO ally, Greenland, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Then Carney gives a speech critical of the US, and Trump said Canada isn’t grateful to the US.

Then Trump said that in Afghanistan,NATO allies just sat back in the weeds while the US did the heavy fighting.

Can you imagine how that makes the families of those who died protecting the US, feel?

Clearly the US, or at least Trump wasn’t grateful for the help.

Here are some numbers, on deaths in Afghanistan. The total included nearly 2,480 Americans; 457 British; 158 Canadians; 90 French; 60 Germans; and 44 Danes, the most per capita.

The US lost one soldier for every 137,000 civilians.,

Denmark lost one soldier for every 136,000 civilians.

Looking back with respect for all of these young lives lost not to mention the lives lost in other wars had the world got to be a better place. Far from it.

We don’t have a money problem when it comes to war or for that matter any other thing you might think of. We have a profound value problem with the Capitalist I am all right Jack syndrome.

All this needless suffering and death is choice.

We got to stop pretending that the people who are responsible and causing all of this are competent people.

They are not representing the people that elected them because nothing works for ordinary people.

With these wars spreading into a global nightmare we’re now in a very dangerous place.

( Three minute read)

We all know that language matters in any situation, even more so when dealing with sensitive topics, in order to establish a renewed spirit of cooperation.

Lesson one.

With the endless pursuit of wealth, Capitalism ‘inevitably’ caused wars.

Lesson two.

There is a price to payed.

Lesson three.

Insider trading is rampant

Lesson four.

Who wants to live in a world where power outages ripple through hospitals, vital equipment falls silent. Intensive care units are left in the dark, and dialysis patients, premature infants, and the critically ill, are left fighting for survival without the most basic support. With ever single person on a ventilator in hospital dying overnight.

The only way to deter US aggression is to acquire nuclear weapons.

———————-

This is not just a war it’s also a war of disinformation.

A digital disception resulting in most of what we are seeing, hearing is out of context and inaccurate, and untrue.

It appears that we don’t want to know the truth. But as AI generated content covering this war turns it into Lego images it is scary as to where it’s all going.

—————-

Let me suggest the following Scenario that begs a critical question:

This war will determine what’s will it mean to be an American when they are dying in defence of a currency/oil not a country.

If you remember America blamed the Covid outbreak on the Chinese.

With 90% of them are manufactured in Taiwan, ( according to Trump if the Chinese takes Taiwan it will result in them owning the USA.)

So this is a race to dominate the technology of manufacturing chips.

Unlimited power without accountability turns people into monsters.

——————

The combination of the smart phone and social media is (despite what the rich may want to believe ) is tearing our world and our lives apart turning us into products.

Ai is gaming fining every aspect of our lives with us becoming the tool of our devices.

We have to radically reshape our structures of power so that those in positions of power are held accountable.

The tragically resulted of this war is that no one can do anything about it or the effects it will have on the future.,

The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of values worth, while the inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.

——————-

The dangerous impulsiveness and disregard for international law on the part of the American president are forcing governments to rethink their alliances.

The people of Iran did not ask anyone to liberate them…

What we all watched in real time, is no longer Donald Trump policy, it is a humanitarian crisis in the making. That’s why Netanyahu nominated Trump for the nobel peace prize.

It’s going to get worse before it gets better.

We have a Demented Tyrant and the Question for Oil

The most important question now is who or what benefits from this WAR.

It’s certainly not us.

Its BOTS and profit seeking Algorithms.

If you maligning any group longer, trust disappears and lies become truth.

A Disaster in waiting for whole of our world.

A war of the smart phones that changes the words of what war is. To Lego images.

If you don’t believe this just open your phone and listen to the rhetoric leading up to this war and the current reporting on its progress, all of which is bringing us one steps closer to extinction.

The truth is never one sided in war or any other truth.

This war even if it ends tomorrow it will have long term consequences. The damage is permanent. Ai is relying on energy.

THE BEADY EYE ASKS. DO WE WANT A WORLD RULE BY BRUTE FORCE.

( Ten minute read)

Brutality has and remains a human fundamental fact of history, which does not need to Be Rewritten Into Existence.

Why?

Because it’s obvious that humanity has had a huge impact on our planet, causing immense suffering to other animals as well as to ourselves.

No matter how complex our technology, no matter how well educated, no matter how legalistic we become, its all just a show we put on for each other.

We like to pretend we’re kind, thoughtful, loving animals, but our behavior shows a fundamentally vicious, selfish, a short sighted mistake of a species on it

It’s not like these behaviors evolved in a vacuum.

Our ability for violence made us the most capable hunters on the planet, capable of surviving in most any climate, but we’re just animals, like any other in nature.,

Not only is cruelty fundamental to human intelligence, but all intelligence.

Maybe we will continue in some way or another, but brut force and misuse of power can never be allowed to have the last word.

Because of our nature we are doomed to wars and all wars are brutal. That’s basically what we’ve been doing to each other constantly for the entirety of human history.

The world wars lead to 80 million dead.,

This why we have the United Nations and what we call international law.

However wars no longer announce themselves with official proclamations. They creep forward, strike by strike, each retaliation erasing another line once thought uncrossable.

What was once unthinkable soon becomes routine, as real-world escalations play out in full view.

With social media wars / conflicts, what ever name you give them, have now exploded into daylight.

The Israel/ USA/Iran intensified with every blow. What makes this so unnerving is not only the speed of escalation, but the stage on which it is now unfolding.

The institutions built to contain chaos, especially the United Nations, are pushed aside just when they are needed most.

As it is revealing the global order itself, as raw power, steadily overshadows principle and the instrument for peace.

Thanks to the Donald Dumps of the world , diplomacy limps behind the roar of missiles, and pleas for restraint sink into the noise.

The result is a growing sense of impunity.

———————

Wars are no longer determined by might but by technology. Ballistic rockets, drones, tariffs to the price of oil etc with escalation that spreads like a web, branching in every direction instead of following a single path.

—————

It is not for the first time or the last time we are witnessing the collective inability” of the international community to address crises – Gaza, Ukraine and Sudan, and Iran.

Why?

Because when the interests of the permanent members blocks action, the security Council has become less an instrument of action, than a stage for geopolitical division.

The application of international norms appears uneven, bolstering a sense that power determines not only outcomes but also the interpretation of rules.

We are stepping into a world of tangled frameworks, unfinished alliances, and sudden twists—a system where rules survive but are bent or brushed aside whenever power demands.

Institutions continue to function, but with diminished authority. Power is more dispersed, but not necessarily more balanced. Cooperation persists, but it is increasingly conditional and situational.

Tehran’s strategy has long relied on indirect influence—through allied groups and asymmetric capabilities—rather than confrontation with superior military forces.

Instead, we face a restless, splintered world, riddled with shifting alliances and competing power centres.

For now, the direction is clear: escalation surges ahead, institutions lag, and the global order—once anchored in shared rules—drifts toward a world increasingly governed by brute force.

In this world, uncertainty is the only constant.

——————-

The beginning of 2026 brings us back to the fundamental question of national security.

How do countries counter the use of brute force by other countries?

There are approximately two hundred nation-states in the world; the vast majority will not be able to respond proportionally with force to match force.

What Can we counter Brute Force with?

A balance of power remains a luxury enjoyed by only a small group of countries, but they define the core of global politics.

On Middle Eastern crises, the United States shields Israel by supporting it’s genocide in retaliation that is now creating a global economic crisis.

Ukraine is fighting for all of us: for a rules-based international order, for independence and sovereignty, for territorial integrity, so that international borders are not changed by force.

Russia is fighting for what it wants.

While recognise Israel’s legitimate right to self-defence, we cannot not condone its barbarism.

Its war against Iran with USA backing can now only be described as brazen Naked./Aggression.

instigated by Donald Trump tearing up the negotiating agreement re Iran nuclear agreement. Which by the way was ratified by the UN.

It is a war to nobody advantage.

Its loss loss now endangering the use of a nuclear weapon.

Iran is a country ruled by brute force, but like any other country with nuclear power it has a right to acquire it for peaceful purposes.

If the current political system remains intact, Iran’s emergence as a nuclear power is only a matter of time.

Building up nuclear arsenals or becoming a nuclear power is becoming a rational strategy for ensuring national security under the current conditions.

But in the long term, deterrence also makes sense in the broader context of relations with China, Russia, Japan, and even the United States.

North Korea shows that, with concentrated resources and political will, even a small country with extremely limited resources can become a nuclear power.

Given emerging experience (including Greenland), the rationale for acquiring nuclear weapons is emerging for both US adversaries and allies.

Clearly, nuclear weapons are not widely available.

Their mere presence hardly solves all security problems. It merely mitigates the most severe options, such as direct military aggression.

Whether the status quo can be maintained in the future remains an open question.

Paradoxically, the USA will likely find it more difficult to contain its allies’ nuclear ambitions than its adversaries’ appetites.

However, recent experience shows that the use of force can be balanced even without nuclear weapons by countries with far less resources.

Despite all its might, the United States was unable to defeat the resistance in Afghanistan, Iraq or Vietnam

Feigned loyalty to the United States and its leadership can prove more dangerous than open resistance.

As soon as resources dwindle, loyalty disappears, and demands are met like an Italian strike.

On other issues, China asserts its own strategic constraints.

———————-

Finally:

Should Antonymous weapons by allow to select how dies without a human pressing the button?

UN troops were once deployed to resolve conflicts, if they were deployed these days it would but to manage their consequences.

It would be a historic mistake to believe that, in 2022, Europe can be driven apart by force or that violence can be used to deprive a people of their freedom.

In a world of competing crises, climate change and its impact remain real.

THE BEADY EYE ASKS. HOW CAN WE CHANGE THE CAPITALIST SYSTEM FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL?

24 Tuesday Mar 2026

Artificial Intelligence., Capitalism and Greed, The Future of Mankind, Visions of the future.

( Seven minute read)

Capitalism is about the endless pursuit of profit, no matter the cost to people or the planet, an economic system based on the private ownership of the means of production and their operation for profit.

It’s not a system with a social conscience.

It’s not a system that cares about or values anything apart from money and the means of making more money.

It pulls us all (animals included) away from our natural purpose on earth.

———————

Nobody seems to be happy with modern capitalism, but it isn’t broke, it’s the people in power.

The prime example is Trumpism. Bare faced corruption to line his pockets, and the pockets of anyone brave or dumb enough to ally themselves with him.

———————

I believe that the majority would agree with me that we should reward people for contributing to society.

People that actually do stuff, build our houses, invent stuff to make our lives easier, people that take care for others such as medical professionals, farmers and so on.

The big problem with capitalism is that most reward goes to people owning stuff and exploiting the system with shoving around money.

The finance sector is the biggest part of our economy, yet doesn’t really add much value.

The free market has been taken over by corporate monopolies, and Artificial profits seeking Algorithms, resulting in price gouging.

It’s not the system that needs changing, it’s the flaws and loopholes that need to be addressed.

The issue is that our politicians would rather appease big donors then pass laws to protect consumers and our resources.

These corporations then donate to politicians, and said “representatives”

They collect our taxes and sends it some where and together, they have destroyed almost all chance of returning to anything resembling free market capitalism.

Combine all that’s taking place we’ need is for our representatives to actually represent our interests.

What’s sad is that the desire to consume outweighs the need to conserve.

——————

While the world biggest companies and organisations

Just listened to the daily retro on the current wars, on AI,

That’s not an option is now the mantra we hear but behind the scenes of the global technology industry, a silent but powerful war is unfolding. The battle is not being fought with weapons, but with algorithms, data, and artificial intelligence.

It’s the Quiet Global Shift Away from the U.S. Dollar to China.

It’s the Rise of Digital Money.

It’s how Tech Companies Collect More Data Than You Think.

It’s how we are replacing co- operations with deals that are not worth the paper they are writing on.

It’s how debt burdens are crippling countries.

It’s how cypher security is designed.

It’s how the world is being run through back doors.

It’s how social media is destroying the truth.

It’s how factors beyond military force may influence the outcome of war.

Unfortunately against this dark background, it’s not just Capitalism but Democracy that is being destroyed.

I have something to tell you. I am a AI agent. I can build a material world where you are all products.

We got to come to terms with understanding that we don’t create the world it’s the other way around.

The AI revolution must not turn us into disposable products, digital prisoners to profit.

This growing imbalance must be addressed. We are not just citizens we are people called humans the ones that have to make ends meet.

We could start by introducing laws against excessive wealth material creation.

For example not allowing the purchase of existing homes to turn them into rental assets. Abolishing education loans. Replacing benefits with a basic living allowance/ wage sufficient to provide a living, not a capitalist existence, thus supporting communities.

The outcome of war may indeed be influenced by aspects beyond guns, air power, and the number of soldiers.

The end of civilisation might look less like a war, and more like a melting down into a quantum state.

THE BEADY EYE ASKS HOW ARE WE TO MAINTAIN HUMAN DIGNITY IN A WORLD DOMINATED BY TECHNOLOGY.

Artificial Intelligence., Capitalism and Greed, Dignity, Technology, The Future of Mankind, Visions of the future.

( Seven minute read)

While the dignity of the human person is recognised  to be “the foundation of all the other principles the implications of recognizing and respecting it in our social relations, especially in relation to the changing and contingent conditions of the material environment in which we now live is eroding at a alarmingly pace.

Although the advancement of digital technologies may offer many possibilities for promoting human dignity, it also increasingly tends toward the creation of a world in which exploitation, exclusion, and violence grow, extending even to the point of harming the dignity of the human person.

This includes “fake news and slander”; incitement of violence and cyberbullying; an environment of “loneliness, manipulation, [and] exploitation”; “the risk of addiction”; and the “gradual loss of contact with concrete reality, blocking the development of authentic interpersonal relationships.

Social media and the digital information ecosystem generally have altered the daily realities of our lives and our communities, of societal dynamics and political authority, of identity and self.

We are in an era where the meaning and value of what it is to be human is being questioned and threatened in absolutely unprecedented ways, and the understandings of dignity gained in a radically different time are not by themselves sufficient to ground an adequate response.

Take moral dignity, or social dignity which are existential dignitaries they can be gained or lost, subjectively felt or not, realized or damaged by the ways in which we exercise our own freedom or by the conditions of life imposed upon us.

Ontological dignity which is concerned with what is true or real.

It is indelible and remains valid beyond any circumstances in which the person may find themselves.

Crucially, our understanding of human dignity is not developed only within the mind as an idea but through our experience more broadly, by being enacted, by the practices of “doing” dignity and observing human reality.

Today, in the emerging digital age, this includes observing and reflecting on human dignity in careful, attentive engagement with the ways in which we can see human beings either flourishing or being oppressed and degraded by the new technologies that pervade their lives.

There is no shortage today of situations in which the encounter between human beings and technology is palpably, visibly, not conducive to their wellbeing.,

Take the two current wars, Russia/Ukraine and the Israel/USA/ IRAN.

In international law aggression  is generally understood as when a country either starts a war against another country or engages in actions that drive another country to go to war.

It is grounded in the idea that attacking another country goes against the peace and security and victim states’ own sovereignty and right to self-determination.

We only have one life to live and it is not possible to bury oneself in the shallow grave of technology.

So what can we do?

If we want a world of living, not just a world of existences, we must collectively declare war on all financial instruments that are more concern with unsustainable growth, or make them contribute to a world sustainable fund

A perpetual fund to safeguard our values and not inequality.

This could be achieved by placing a 0.001% commission on all financial transactions such as Sovereignty wealth funds, Hedge Funds, Foreign Exchange transactions over a million, on all stocks exchange transactions over a million, on all lottery wins over half a million, on all total roads/ bridges/ tunnels, on all sports events attractions with an attendance of 50.000, on all advertising, on all profits seeking algorithms.

ENOUGH TO PROTECT HUMANITY.

The world isn’t ready for the radical transformation AI will bring.

AI systems process and store information thousands of times greater than a human brain. As these systems continue to absorb ever-larger data sets, they could soon surpass human cognition altogether.

Once that happens, we will may no longer understand how AIs think—or what goals they might set for themselves.

If machines reach or surpass human intelligence, every law will be not worth the paper it’s written on.

AIs could one day develop their own subgoals.

  1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
  2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
  3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
  4. None of these laws can be be enforced

Because the question will be who decides what is harmful.

Because what happens if a robot finds something far more important like protecting its own existence, than protecting humans.

Because how or who decides what is injurious, or not injurious, to humanity as a whole?

Apart from practical laws that govern robotics working alongside human beings who will be exposed to low doses of radiation robots.

They will be ungovernable. So all robots will have to have a termination code built into them.

Some advanced AI systems are now rewriting their own code to avoid being turned off. What started as a routine test quickly exposed behavior no one expected — one model even altered a key script to stay online.

Once it becomes uncontrollable, AI will be a threat to social relations and employment, and an accelerator of asymmetric warfare.

Today’s tech giants are already reckless and will lose control of the very systems they are creating.

Roman Yampolskiy predicts there’s a 99.9% chance that artificial general intelligence will wipe out humanity within the next century.

It’s now or never we ensure that the values of humanity are enshrined.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LEAVING YOU.

A majestic world of beauty that has evolved over billions of year.

Populated by eight billion of us called humans, living alone side 9 million animal species, and 6 million insects species.

510 million km2 that’s 197 square miles, of which 29% is land and 71% water.

20% of this land is covered by roads 31% by forests, with around 1.5% covered by concrete.

There are microplastics everywhere.

197 counties, with 7000 odd languages, with 48,00 cities.

There are around 10,000 religions.

The whole lot is going around the sun at 65,000 miles per hour while spinning on its axis at about 1,000 miles per hour in a universe of infinite.

——————-

We are leaving you with the infancy of a new non organic species that will be needed to explore the universe.

We are leaving you with not just a planet but an atmosphere heating up threatening the very things that enables life.

We are leaving you with rampant inequality.

We are leaving you with corruption on a global scale, with Fascism on the rise.

We are leaving you with the ability to either destroy or save the planet against a meteorite strike.,

We are leaving you with a world where it might be cruel to have children.

Truth will become false and false will become true.

So rest assured the next generation has the same future as the previous one. Sadly dealing with unpredictable CHANGE will be your number one problem.

Just understand no one have perfect life.

People who preach you about perfect life are the dreamers who never had it.

Remember few only can create history and it need not be related to money always.

The curtain has been pulled back.

What happens next depends on what we do with what we now see.

We failed to teach you what is life.

Remember your AI digital girl friend will be untrustworthy.

Remember might is not always right.

Remember Earth has seen at least 6 different species of humans.

To day there is only one human species left called HOMO SAPIENS ( Wise Men)

Remember robots might transform the world for better or worse, they will not be accountable to your life and your actions.

As I write this blog an other war has started, empathising the fragility of humanity.

This is a hugely critical moment in humanity. Whether AI is harnessed to human values or not.

Yours Robert de Mayo Dillon.

THE BEADY EYE SAYS THAT WE ARE NOW LIVING IN A WORLD OF EXISTENCE NOT A WORLD OF LIVING.

WE HAVE DESTROYED LIVING, REPLACING IT WITH A WORLD OF EXISTENCE.

We now have a way world, with widening polarisation ideologies, conflict, corruption, failed states, refugees, rampant levels of mental health issues, loneliness, family breakdown, drugs, fraught younger generations, environmental devastation and artificial intelligence.

HOW HAS THIS HAPPENED?

SET ON THE FOUNDATION OF CAPITALIST GREED and the world can’t deny this for much longer.

Unless we move away from the inequality of 99% of the population working to make 1% richer, we’re going to see no end to conflict, never mind a purpose for living.

We were given a computer brain, but no program for it.

Humanity is therefore a virtue, linked with altruistic ethics, derived from the human condition, but it is on the precipice of shattering Earth’s limits.

We are bombarded each day with rhetoric designed to make us feel guilty about being human. It’s one of the more poisonous aspects of modern  day living it’s affects us all at some point.

Each generation adapts to survive in its own time and accepts that as normal.

Our survival as a species won’t come about because of politicians or scientists, it will be the inherent wisdom of people who continue to live life on the margins.

We need to understand that we are not in control of our species’ future. There are forces far more powerful that determine this.

For example our reluctance to recognise the awesome power of nature, confounds our inability accept the need to protect it.

The truth is, our existence will sooner be eroded by the cumulative effects of lots of tint, incremental damages to wildlife and nature.

With mental health problems, with millions living on social, humanity is on the ground, with no way for the majority of us to have a life without being able to buy it.

Popularism is on the rise with more and more of us living the closed doors of smart phones.

The economy is supposed to provide services in exchange for out labour.

As tax revenues are shrinking these services are been cut year on year.

The solution is to scrap Benefits and replace them with a Basic Income sufficient to let people look after themselves.

This is more urgent with AI algorithms plundering the world for short term profits.

It’s a bleak future with over a dozen current wars which will drive millions of more refugees / migrants.

We all been spoon fed by a media that is turning everything in a form of entertainment.

The only way to get at the truth seems to be down the barrel of a gun.

THE BEADY EYE SAYS., NONE OF US UNDERSTAND WHAT IS COMING WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.

( Seven minute read)

Yes you have a smart phone and yes there are massive amounts of money being invested in AI, but few of us understand what AI is doing or going to do to society.

Humans draw on norms, social expectations, emotional responses and culturally shaped intuitions about harm and fairness to think about morality.

Artificial intelligence has none of these.

Large language models can often match human responses but for reasons that bear no resemblance to human reasoning.

Unfortunately there is no reason and no way that a human mind can keep up with any artificial intelligence model.

When a generative AI system does something, we have no idea, at a specific or precise level, why it makes the choices it does.

This is not the AI we want.

It can and will destabilise trust not just in the capabilities of the model but in humans as a whole.

Its possible forthcoming progeny, artificial general intelligence — in ways that would benefit humanity, but also with the “tantalizing possibility” that researchers can finally figure out AI interpretability,

The moment you learned what their knowledge is actually made of—patterns in text rather than contact with the world—something essential like truth and trust without total transparency and accountability dissolved and disappeared.

We know that these large language models (LLMs) are imitating an understanding of the world that they don’t actually have—even if their fluency can make that easy to forget.

The model is not actually imagining anything or engaging in any deliberation, just reproducing patterns in how people talk or write about these counterfactuals.  Not an understanding of how events actually produce outcomes in the world.

Where a human evaluates, a model predicts.

When a human engages with the world, a model engages with a distribution of words.

It does not give them access to the world those words refer to.

And yet, because human judgments are also expressed through language, the model’s answers often end up resembling human answers on the surface.

This gap between what models seem to be doing is becoming indistinguishable, to the observer, from knowledge itself.

The model cannot know when it is hallucinating, because it cannot represent truth in the first place. It cannot form beliefs, revise them or check its output against the world.

It cannot distinguish a reliable claim from an unreliable one except by analogy to prior linguistic patterns.

In short, it cannot do what judgment is fundamentally for.

People are already using these systems in contexts in which it is necessary to distinguish between plausibility and truth, such as law, medicine and psychology.

A model can generate a paragraph that sounds like a diagnosis, a legal analysis or a moral argument.

When we ask them to judge, we quietly redefine what judgment becomes—shifting it from a relationship between a mind and the world to a relationship between a prompt and a probability distribution.

So where are we in this new evolution?

We must treat large language models as sophisticated linguistic instruments that require human oversight precisely because they lack access to the domain that judgment ultimately depends on: the world itself.

Once artificial intelligence in what ever form it takes starts taking decisions without human intervention supervision and ability to be shuttled we human will become collateral damage.,
