Because

The brain stops functioning

There’s no heaven. No hell. No reincarnation.

There exists not a shred of verifiable evidence for any such flight of fancy.

The brain simply loses the computational capacity to recognize or reflect on its own state.

The simple fact is that the ability to think about one’s own thinking—is one of the brain’s most complex, resource-intensive functions.

Long before cardiac or brain death is complete, high-level functions like self-monitoring shut off, leaving no cognitive mechanism left to register.

“I am dying” or “I have died”

The transition happens faster than the brain’s neural processing speed (which takes roughly 80–100 milliseconds to perceive an event).

In gradual deaths, sedatives, natural end-of-life endorphins, or delirium usually produce a dreamlike state long before awareness fades entirely.

Even while fully conscious prior to death, terminal patients often experience profound shock, dissociation, or denial.

The brain frequently filters out the full existential gravity of the situation as a protective response against extreme stress.

The question is why?

The world is plagued by stupidity.

When analyzing global stability through the lens of overall human welfare, a full-scale global conflict represents the absolute worst possible outcome: astronomical immediate suffering, widespread destruction of infrastructure, and the potential elimination of all future human potential.

Political leaders prioritize immediate domestic gains or national pride over the far greater, long-term global payoff of peace.

Because the catastrophic cost of a modern global war (especially one involving nuclear or automated systems) is virtually unbounded, even a low percentage chance of escalation carries an unacceptably high risk to human flourishing.

Entering a third world war is not inevitable.

Avoiding it requires aligning international institutions, economic interdependencies, and diplomatic channels so that cooperation yields higher measurable utility than aggression.

Preserving global peace remains the single highest-leverage objective for safeguarding human happiness, progress, and survival.

Unfortunately intelligence is no longer the property of humans.

The primary danger isn’t an rogue machine declaring war, but rather how human superpowers manage the shift in power that AGI creates.

The nation that achieves AGI first could gain an unassailable military, strategic, and economic advantage.

This creates a “use-it-or-lose-it” pressure, where a rival power might consider preemptive cyber or kinetic strikes to prevent an adversary from crossing the technological threshold

The vast sums of money and compute power pouring into AI are accelerating its advance at a pace beyond even the ambitious imagination of its own innovators.

Driven by what the techies call “verified rewards,” these models relentlessly seek achievement of an objective and will do whatever is necessary to get there.

AI scientists have long feared “where the AI system is sufficiently capable that, whatever its objectives are, it’s going to achieve them, even if they’re not aligned with what we want.

These are not sharp transitions, but we could talk about a ‘loss-of-control transition,’ where we no longer have a say in what happens.”

The possible scenarios beyond this threshold range from disruptive cyberattacks on infrastructure to, at the far end, “extinction” in the sense that autonomously reasoning and agentic AGI no longer needs humans or to align with their morals, norms and interests.

If we figure out how to build in safety into the design of AI systems from the beginning, maybe we could coexist indefinitely and even flourish with such systems

So, before that loss-of-control transition happens, there’s an earlier transition, which is much more difficult to perceive, which is when the time it takes to get to that loss-of-control level is less than the time it takes to solve the control problem.

I say that “ we have already passed that point.”

Solving the control problem is very difficult.

Because this “race condition” amplifies the mismatch between devising effective constraints and losing control.

The obvious question is why the AI companies are risking even a small chance of their invention leading to human extinction by proceeding when they are fully aware they are losing control?

It’s this mismatch between the long-term interest, which is presumably that the species continues, and the short-term reward signal that evolution has built into you to try to get you to do good things.

But we humans also suffer from this when we become drug addicts, right?

We have a dopamine system that’s supposed to help us avoid pain and seek pleasure and food and company and all those things that we like.

But sometimes it gets hijacked by drugs.

And so we experience a personal extinction as a result.

So that mismatch can happen at the species level as well.

If we succeed in creating AGI — which we are going to spend a trillion dollars of your money to build — then there’s, depending on who you ask, 10, 20, 25, even 50% chance that we’re all going to go extinct.

I think this is really quite terrified, as they can’t get out of the race condition that they’re in.

OK,

We get the big Techology companies to stop. But they will only stop if everyone else agrees to stop.

That has never happened, as far as I know, in the history of capitalism.

What do I mean?

It’s about the singular threat facing the planet not to mention the Armageddon of abrupt Climate Change

The boundary between human thought and artificial intelligence is simply fading through friction-free software and smarter devices.

Just look at the direction we are going. Our schools are educating our children as if humanity is not approaching a world run by AI.

I suppose that it’s not inevitable that everyone will have wires or microchips implanted in their bodies, but in a functional sense, we are already halfway there.

If you define a cyborg as an organism whose abilities are extended by technology, most people already operate as “external cyborgs.” Your phone holds your memory, maps expand your navigation, and AI assists your thinking.

The real question is whether that boundary between human skin and digital silicon will dissolve completely.

I’m Instead of putting chips directly into our brains, technology stays on the outside—but becomes radically less invisible.

So you remain biologically intact, but your daily capability is heavily augmented by AI running in the background.

You can think at incredible speeds, but typing with thumbs or speaking out loud transfers data at roughly 10 to 100 bits per second.

AI processes data at trillions of bits per second.

It therefore stands to reason that a subset of the population will merge directly with digital systems to avoid being left behind by artificial superintelligence.

Treating human-unaugmented thought as a deliberate lifestyle choice.

Ai will act as autonomous agents, physical robotics, and digital partners that handle complex computation, labor, and reasoning without needing to merge with human biology.

Where do we actually end up?

Humanity rarely picks just one path.

We will likely end up on a spectrum:

1. Medical cyborgs will be the pioneers—using implants to restore sight, mobility, or memory loss.

2. Ambient cyborgs will form the vast majority—using non-invasive tools (glasses, earwear, neural bands) that seamlessly loop AI into everyday life.

3. Pure biological purists will choose to disconnect entirely, treating human-unaugmented thought as a deliberate lifestyle choice.

The question then becomes who or what Messiah will be in charge?

The question then becomes who or what controls your memory.

Human existence and experience is not text, we see, we hear, we smell.

Imagine an AI with these abilities.

It could point a camera at a car and be able to suggest what’s wrong with the engine, and provide what is needed to fix it.

Apply this to a human body.

It could analyse your body in real time.

I predict that we will have personalised software before we can even begin to release that this type of technology will have to be paid for.

We are on the threshold of an era where everything you see, hear, will have to be verified.

We are living in a world of technological advancement, with inequality growing on a scale not seen since slavery was abolished.

We elect people to represent us, because only living entities have goals:

To find food, to reproduce, to survive, sometimes simply to experience good things. 

The tragedy is with the imminent arrival of General Artificial Intelligence it will be too late to do anything about the inequalities that exits, never mind what’s over the horizon.

Wealth is being weaponised, and the Ukraine war with Russia shows that standing armies are out of date.

Governments get weaker and weaker year upon year, eroding quicker than their manifesto.

Spending money they don’t have on futures that don’t understand or can ill afford to comprehend.

Because their tax returns are dismissing year upon year, as profit seeking algorithms that have no sources can make profits disappear into the cloud.

We know that massive changes to employment are coming down the line.

To combat these changes redistribute of wealth must start now.

This can only be achieved by governments nationalising their countries sources of wealth and introducing with new laws governing compulsive purchases orders.

I am not talking about income. I am talking about property.

Proponents argue that extreme inequality hurts growth because the wealthy tend to save their money, whereas putting money into the hands of lower- and middle-class citizens immediately boosts consumer spending and drives the economy.

This is going to-be no longer the case

The biggest challenge in wealth redistribution is balancing equity (fairness) with efficiency (growth).

This argument is also with the current revolution in technology coming to a cull de sack.

Just look at Elon Musk or Donald Trump-

How grotesque it is to see one man owning trillions while the other lines his own pockets, while wasting billions of tax payers dollars.

There isn’t a single “best” way of achieving redistribution, because every method comes with trade-offs between economic equality and economic growth.

Collecting the money is only half the battle; how it is spent determines how effectively wealth is redistributed.

Taxes are enhireantly disliked and so complex that more money is spent on advoiding them than paying them.

Instead of letting the market create extreme inequality and trying to fix it later via taxes, “pre-distribution” changes the rules of the economy so wealth is shared more evenly from the start.

Setting a legal floor for wages ensures workers take home a larger share of a company’s revenue.

Breaking up monopolies and fostering competition prevents massive corporations from artificially driving down wages or inflating prices for consumers.

While demand on Governments tax coffers shrinkand demand goes up exponentially.

The equality gap between the rich and poor widens year upon year.

The question is how to go about looking at fresh ways to raise the funds to bring assets back in public ownership.

They could be funded-by a lottery system

They could be funded-by new government bonds.

They could be funded by increasing the tax take on the extremely wealthy.

Elon Musk might have helped human consciousness to leave earth and enter space. However with his trillion he would, like others, need to have this consciousness prickled here on earth.

The above statement couldn’t be more true, and needs to be critical analysis sooner than later.

This is extremely important as we are moving rapidly towards a world of AI surveillance.

Artificial Intelligence’s is if we don’t get a grip of now ( not in the future) it’s going to rule the world we live on.

Its unchecked development with the rise of hyper-realistic deepfakes, automated text generation, and voice cloning is already out of control.

AI makes it incredibly cheap and easy to manufacture fake realities at scale.

When anything can be perfectly faked, trust in media, democratic elections, and institutional authority collapses entirely.

If citizens can no longer agree on objective reality, cohesive society becomes impossible to maintain.

A rogue actor or terrorist group could use AI to design a highly lethal, vaccine-resistant pathogen that would have previously required a state-sponsored lab and a team of virologists to engineer.

It’s time our governments wake up to reality’s of AI.

Just look at what’s happening in the Russia/ Ukraine war.

A war of drones against an unwinding army that needs, fuel, food, water, ammunition etc.

The integration of AI into military hardware creates autonomous weapons systems (killer robots) that can select and engage targets without human intervention eliminating human hesitation or mercy from the battlefield.

Furthermore, algorithmic bugs or rapid-fire escalation between opposing military AIs could trigger accidental wars before human commanders even realize what is happening.

Are we all so stupid that we are unable to see that the future will be run by a select few, if we don’t take action to regulate AI now it will not be possible to close the gate later.

Resistance is not futile.

We need laws to force companies to pull back the curtain on “black box” algorithms.

This means maintaining clear data provenance (knowing exactly what data was used to train the AI) and allowing independent third parties to audit systems for hidden bias or security flaws before they go public.

Deciding who is legally responsible when AI causes harm.

If an autonomous system misdiagnoses a patient or crashes a vehicle, liability frameworks establish whether the fault lies with the software developer, the data provider, or the end-user.

Because AI code doesn’t stop at national borders, global bodies (like the UN, G7, or international treaty organizations) must establish baseline safety floors.

This prevents “regulatory arbitrage,” where tech companies simply move their operations to countries with lax safety laws.

The “Pacing Problem”:

This is the core structural hurdle of AI regulation.

Technology develops exponentially, while traditional legislative and democratic lawmaking processes move linearly and slowly.

By the time a comprehensive law is debated, drafted, and passed, the underlying technology has often entirely changed.

To solve this, many experts advocate for agile governance—using living regulatory sandboxes where tech companies can test new models under close government supervision, allowing regulators to learn and adapt rules in real-time.

Or they are required to lodge a copy of the software governing any technology with a government held computer in order to receive a license to operate the software.

We are now living in a world that has more than bleak outlook, on several fronts.

Climate change – Current wars- Artificial Intelligence.

In not so distant future the above three will cause mass migration not extinction.

We have a popular asshole president of the U. S. A.

Supporting a country while stating its ambitions for a greater Israel, has just pulled of a genocide with two fingers in the air to the rest of world.

We have the prospective of millions loosing their jobs.

We have Ai threatening to displace millions of jobs.

Been replaced by coded machine. Without any income, it doesn’t take much of an imagination to know what happens next.

We have over a million and half people refugees in the ongoing war in the Sudian.

We have talking heads everywhere who don’t know what their heads are talking about.

We have al-Qaeda -.Hezbollah – Isil Da’esh, Along with probably 50- 60 other groups.

We have one individual worth 1.2,trillion dollars.,

To put that in perspective, his wealth is equivalent to roughly 3% of the entire United States Gross Domestic Product (GDP), 

We have billions being spent on useless weapons.

We have around 9 billion mobile phone in the world.

We have enough plastic to bury ( around 10 billion tonnes)

There are an estimated 170 trillion microplastic particles floating in the oceans alone, which have now been detected in everything from global drinking water to human lungs.

We have up to 150 to 200 species of plants, insects, birds, and mammals go extinct every single day. 

We have well over 4,000 distinct religions and faith groups active in the world today.

With 160 major lottery operators across roughly 90 countries. 

We have 1.8 billion vechiels in the world

We have AI already coping itself to advoid being replaced.

The big question is.

Do we have the geeks and brainiacs now are now us to get on top of AI before it gets a consciousness.

AI doesn’t get tired, emotional, or biased by a bad night’s sleep.

For all of human history, “smartest on the planet” has been our baseline reality.

There is a massive difference between processing intelligence and existential intelligence.

A machine can ingest the entirety of human medical literature, legal history, or coding libraries in hours. 

It will optimize complex systems (like global supply chains or climate models) better than any human committee.

All of this may well be true.

The promise is abundance

The risk is domination.

To create something that we don’t understand or have control of is without doubt the dummies thing man kind could achieve.

The Ai race is no longer about what might happen. It’s what is being built.

Ai is now across all advertising because the companies working on AI see it as the final frontier. Everything invented after will be done by Ai that will dictate the future of humanity.

A horrible thought.

But the truth is this is now unstoppable with trillions and trillions being invested with out any regulations other than large fines that are considered minuscule to the rewards.
