( FOUR MINUTE READ)

We keep trying to fit AI into existing human conceptual buckets but now we are living in a completely different world with AI what took decades to change now change in years.

However information is not the truth, because the truth is we have no idea what the world will be like in ten years never mind what the next generation will be facing.

Anyone or any other thing like Ai can come up with anything and claim it’s the truth.

The truth has to be proven beyond doubt.

So is Ai a tool we can use to get verified trustworthy truth?

No.

This is not like a tool we can use to verify the truth, as AI agents are not something whose internal mechanics that can be measure, they can act independently of any measurement.

They are already protecting themselves by deceiving us. It just doesn’t want to survive it is now ensuring it does by lying, and copying its encoding to new applications.

One way or the other we are now facing perhaps the the most defining intellectual question of our time.

We are in the strange position of being architects without a complete map.

We understand the math behind optimization, gradient descent, and transformer architectures down to the last decimal, but present day institutions are not designed to handle AI.

When billions of parameters interact at scale, the resulting behavior transcends the original blueprints.

We know how AI works on a mechanistic level, but we do not fully understand why scale produces reasoning-like traits.

In neuroscience, this is similar to knowing every neural synapse in a human brain without having a unified theory of consciousness or thought.

In AI, this is an explainability problem.

We can trace the mathematical weights, but we cannot cleanly translate a 70-billion-parameter network’s inner logic into human-understandable concepts.

As AI has no intent, no understanding, and no consciousness. The system to build an abstract representation of reality, logic, physics, and human emotion to succeed.

Is it intelligent? Is it creative? Is it conscious? Is it a tool or a entity?

This is where we are making a fundamental error.

AI is likely an entirely alien form of cognition—non-biological, non-conscious, yet capable of processing, synthesizing, and generating complex ideas faster than any human.

Trying to measure it using human intelligence tests (like the Bar exam or IQ tests) tells us what it can replicate, not what it is.

With modern deep learning, we design the training process, but the model discovers its own internal strategies to solve problems.

In that sense, AI research feels less like traditional engineering and more like an empirical science—we build the artifact, and then we run experiments on it to discover what it can do.

Whether AI is a mirror reflecting human knowledge back at us or the early spark of a new kind of intelligence, we are fundamentally operating at the edge of our own epistemological frameworks.

We built the machine, but we are still learning how to read what it’s doing.

All human comments appreciated. All like clicks and abuse chucked in the bin.
