Here is a country of near 500 million people that wiped out its indigenous peoples, had a civil war to abolish slavery, sent a man to the moon, saved Europe from the Nazism, sacrifice thousands of it young to stop communism, now looking at a president, a felon serving a second term, using its military might in such a manner that he is posing a bigger threat than Putin or china to world peace.

How long does the sentence have to be to describe a man that has done more damage, that has two assignations attempted , that threatened to leave NATO, grap Iceland, with an ego reviling that of a Gelada Ape, a buffoon, that is trading the environment for oil and eighteen hole golf courses.

It’s going to be great. American first- Americans last – God Bless America.

Get a grip America. Wake up.

Beyond politics, community structures have eroded to such a state your country is going down the tubes of Capitalism for a profit.

You’re politics has shifted from policy debates to identity-driven conflict.

The primary incentive structures in modern politics—gerrymandered districts, small-dollar fundraising that rewards outrage, and primary elections—often penalize moderation and reward sensationalism or extreme positions on both sides.

The shift from shared news sources (like traditional network broadcast news) to algorithmically driven social media and partisan cable channels has created distinct echo chambers.

Feeds that are designed to maximize engagement, and fear or anger drive clicks faster than nuanced facts, leaving people with fundamentally different realities.

Despite macro metrics like GDP or low unemployment, many Americans feel squeezed by the cost of living.

Decades of rising costs in housing, higher education, healthcare, and childcare—paired with stagnant real wage growth for many working-class families—have reduced social mobility and fueled widespread financial anxiety.

Public confidence in foundational institutions—including Congress, the presidency, the courts, traditional media, public health organizations, and higher education—has hit near-historic lows.

When citizens lose faith that institutions can solve problems or act neutrally, cynicism and anger take over.

Membership in religious organizations, civic clubs, neighborhood groups, and local volunteer networks has dropped sharply over recent decades.

This social isolation leaves people feeling disconnected, which often translates into hostility or despair.
