We all know and now see that ENGLAND IN DEMONISING ITS EUROPE neighbours( its worst ever mistake politically and economically) shoot itself in the foot, committing a form Lemmings National Suicide.
Achieving the total opposite that leaving the Eu was supposed to achieve.
This has more than anything else turned a well founded country into a country without a well-defined future.
Its sitting government at the time of Brexit could not have chosen a better time to flush the economy of the nation down the toilet.
It beggars belief closing it’s self to the biggest market on its doorstep for the sake of god only knows what.
However, if one could differentiate between the certain, the probable and the possible England it is now rudderless.
Of course there was no crystal ball but any intelligent person could have predicted the outcome (in times of uncertainty, due to current wars and the dominance of Ai was not going to benefit an Island off the continental shelf.
For all those Blairites challenging the Government for being too feeble to take on the vested interests, there are plenty of others in the Labour Party yearning for undiluted socialism.
It is in free fall.

Naturally, when things are going badly for a political party meetings become blame-storming sessions with the leadership being the immediate scapegoats.
Under pressure, Keir Starmer seeks to placate his critics, only adding to the incoherence. U-turns, reshuffles, phase one, phase two. Mission statements that nobody can quite remember.
Emphatic pledges of confidence in ministers who are sacked the next day.
What we are seeing under Stamer is a party desperately trying to retains its old atrophying instincts repeating its mistakes, ad nauseum resulting in a country dominated by the professional middle classes.

The challenges are cultural as well as economic:
There is the emergence of multiple ethnic communities, with no incentives to integrate, living in parallel cultures to mainstream society and its social norms and symbols of nationhood.
They have little or no concept of Royalties or the history of the country and like all practicing Muslims consider that all others are INHERENTLY INFIDELS.

The economic situation compounds the difficulty.
Providing a powerful dynamic generating the political energy of these conflicts, is a broken, debt laden, high tax, low productivity economy, characterised by wealth extraction and rentierism, and burdened by unsustainable levels of welfare spending and a bloated, wasteful, ineffective state.
Starmer probably did have a big enough majority that would have allowed him to face down his left-wing rebels to cut welfare spending, but he has not shown the temperamental inclination to do so – even assuming he believes it to be necessary.
Instead he is swanning around the Donald Trumps, on the fringes of deals not worth the paper they are written on.,
England has to get beyond this thing of being in hock to the bond market.
There is precious little sign of the present ENGLISH Government acting on the scale of reconstruction the country.
No political party has a solution to the long term decline and stagnation of the economy and none are willing to confront the electorate with the trade-offs and hard choices that will be needed for national reconstruction.
The reality is with the current state of the world for ENGLAND to repair its infrastructure, its economy etc it must 🌲 first achieve self sufficient in ENERGY.
This should-not be just be an aspiration it should be the main objective, to put its reconstruction on a solid foundation.
