Humans are difficult to be with. We’re difficult to get along with. Why is that?

What makes us so inherently difficult to simply exist peacefully?

Humans are mostly able to reach a certain level of tolerance and positive/neutral interaction.

However I think when you look at all the wars, both past and current, it’s pretty clear that us humans have a hard time getting along with each other.

We’re emotional primates who haven’t evolved a way to feel and rationally think at the same time.

Our consciousness exists on top of the foundation of our primitive subconscious, and everything we think about is filtered through that animal brain.

And that animal brain is all about survival.

Our technology creates a false sense of being advanced, and we really aren’t.

We still largely react to things like people did centuries ago. It takes thousands, if not millions of years to evolve and humanity is still a relatively young organism.

Human beings can’t help the way they feel, but they sure can control how they react.

The sad fact is that it feels great letting emotions win over reason, and the vast majority of people are not self-aware enough, nor strong-willed enough, to resist

Because we’re emotional, insecure little creatures trying to make sense of a chaotic world while carrying trauma, ego, and fear of rejection.

Mix in different values, communication styles, and childhood baggage and boom, conflict.

It’s like we’re all walking around with invisible instruction manuals that no one else can read… and we get mad when others don’t “get” us.

Peace takes effort, and sadly, most of us are just winging it..

Technology is profoundly impacting the human connection, both positively and negatively but it remains not realistic to assume everyone can get along with one another – and there’s millions of reasons why people don’t get along.

All human comments appreciated. All like clicks and abuse chucked in the bin.
