( Five minute read)

War in the Ukraine, war in Israel, war in Sudan, war in Yemen, war in Syria, war in Myanmar, war in other places.

What is the UN doing?

All it can do is to pass worthless verbal resolutions showing it’s totally incapable of resolving any war.

Every country has a right to defend itself.

This defence can’t be dictated to by any international agreement/ treaties or organisation.

Peace can only be achieved by a comprehensive fear beyond what is here and after.

However all wars come to an end.

Is there an alternative to the United Nations?

Not really as to achieve international agreement one has to have an international organisation.

Unfortunately we as a species have yet to understand what the word share means, never mind united.

Perhaps the combination of climate change and AI might change this to some degree in the future.

But our pea brain intelligence (influenced by a plant named wheat that conned humans into looking after it) remains incapable of understanding the concept of free anything other than perhaps in financial terms.

When one see the United Nations performing it would be more appropriate to call it the Non- Unity Nations. In its current form it has failed not just in stopping wars, but in protecting human rights.

Such is the perversity of human nature we find within the UN, countries that openly support war/ genocide in the Middle East. However 75 years on there is no definitive answer as to whether it’s a failure or success.

Now because of the veto it is ridicule on a profound basis, but the recent global pandemic shows its impact when it comes to handling a global crisis.

So it there anytime that might reform it so that it carries some weight?

Here are a few suggestions.

Instead of country sitting behind their names and national flags that indicates their cultural and historical beliefs, they are seated by drawing a ticket number on entry.

In order to respect the UN Charter a new membership is allocated to world Corporations/ industries with revenue that affects human values.

Fear is perhaps is the only power that unites.

It’s time it scrapped the Veto.

It needs to remind itself that for every twenty- four rotation of Earth – people kill and get killed in the name of someone else’s conception of either God or needs or wants of political dogma.

There will be nothing to Veto if it continue to turn a blind eye to the needs of the global society (which is presently dangerously playing with Artificial Intelligence’s.)

Again and again across centuries discoveries have demoted our self-image.

In the coming transition from biological to semi non biological lives we will need an institute that is able to apply human values and the knowledge to ensure our place in the universe.

We might ponder one day why we did not take collective action to protect the values that are essentially to be human.

During our brief stay on the planet we owe ourselves and our descendants the opportunity to explore.

Imagine a world where not nations but big Tech companies run society.

This is no longer a concept of science fiction movie.

An Algorithmic world is only around the corner in which our lives will serve profit above all else.

All human comments appreciated. All like clicks and abuse chucked in the bin.
